This is Japanese Antique Textile Excellent shibori (Tie-dye)& sashiko stitch Farmer's Vest at the Meiji era.(1890~1910)
This item was made in the Meiji era in Hirosaki prefecture, Aomori prefecture. Almost unused. All sashiko are hand-stitched. Indigo dyed cotton and shibori (Tie-dye) & sashiko stitch are wonderfully beautiful.

Very hard to find.
Made of three main floors.
With at the lower part four decorated niches with seated Buddhas meditating to the 4 cardinal directions.
On the upper floors four standing Buddhas showing the four cardinal directions in decorated niches with flower patterns and stylized lotus buds.
A Lotus bud at the very top of the temple.
Beautiful aged bronze green patina.

18th Century bronze Vishnu Figure, Seated on a stylized lotus Throne.
The divinity seated in royal ease, his right hand holding a stick, symbol of his power.
Wearing a tiered conical hair dress, short vertically striated sampot with overlap, jeweled collar, armlets, anklets and pendeloque earrings.
His throne decorated with lotus buds and flower and the figure is seated beneath a nicely decorated arch.
This piece dates back to the 18th Century, About 250-300 years...

This is a Japanese antique excellent silk kinran Weave and hand-embroidery kesa textile of the edo era(1800-1867) .
The lining is silk safflower dyed. There are some stains, and a part of the embroidery thread is peeled off. There is a small hole. But they don't stand out. Recommended for your antique textile collection.
