Beautiful European car dish made using the "aqua-fortis" technique which is a type of etching. In this technique, plates of copper, steel, zinc, etc. are covered with a varnish and then blackened with black-smoke. A hand tool is used to remove the varnish, exposing the raw metal. The varnish is then covered with wax. Nitric acid (aqua-fortis) is spilled onto the surface will corrode the parts devoid of varnish. Inscription reads F. BOUCHER , PASTORALE...

Beautiful handpainted Hutschenreuther porcelain plaque of Mary and Jesus. It is not artist signed, but has the Hutschenreuther crown and shield mark on the back and is of the highest quality. The plaque itself measures 6 5/8" x 5 1/8" and in its original frame it measures 12 1/4" x 9 1/2". It is in great original condition.

Lovely old charger done in sepia colors. Signed Graf and marked on the back "Der Salontirvler" with the Royal Rudolstadt mark and #7826 impressed in the center. The acorn border is decorated with raised gold. This beautiful charger is in perfect original condition and measures 14 1/2" in diameter.

This very well carved ivory statue of a scholar is a late 19th century product. It is 11" high (with hardwood carved base, it is 13" high), 3 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" thick. The image is the well-known Song Dynasty (960AD~1270AD) hermit scholar Lin Pu (林 逋). Li Pu (967AD~1028AD) was born in Hang Zhou City, Zhe Jiang. When he was young he traveled a lot. Later in life, he settled down to live alone under the Gu Mountain near Xi Lake...

A thinly potted bowl with a carved decoration and glazed with an nice pale blue Qingbai glaze. Northern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ) There is an old Chinese inscription to the unglazed base. Diameter : 15,8 cm. H : 4,9 cm. Condition : One old, very small chip resp. frit to the rim. Further in perfect condition with an nice "ping" tone when tapped.

A Kangxi period blue and white plate, of a charming design featuring several well-known Kangxi patterns: prunus against crackled ice, the honeycomb diaper, and hibiscus (furong) floral scrolls. The base is marked with an interesting floral mark within double circles...

A Yuan dynasty qingbai bluish white glaze large vase, size 20cm height, good condition.

Metal alloy and silver box with a finely detailed "aguafuerte" style etching of an outdoor gathering located on the top of the box. There are two inscriptions located above and below the etching. The top inscription reads "D'APRES LANCRET" while the bottom inscription reads "LE COLIN-MAILLARD". Circa 1900.
Measures: 6.25" (16 cm) length X 4.5" (11.5 cm) width X 2.25" (5.6 cm).

A nice challenge for each restorer. Early Ming Dynasty Zhengtong period ( 1436 - 49 ) blue and white dish with a extraordinary nice and rich decoration. The old unprofessional gluings can be open again trough to cook in water. D : 20 cm.

A rare Tang dynasty Changsha ewer decorated with molded figure and kilin motive. conditions : view chipped at the mout rim and glaze degradations. On restorations ( Please see on last picture before restorations). 20,5 cm high.

A small enamelled copper box, the cover depicting a grasshopper or cricket amongst grasses and flowers. The base carries a "CHINA" stamp which dates it to post 1890. This item was probably made circa 1900, during the latter years of the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there are spots and blemishes to the enamel on the cover and there are losses to the enamel on the sides. 4.1cm (1.6 inches) long; 3.1cm (1.25 inches) wide; 1.4cm (0.55 inches) high...

Beautiful Chinese cloisonné tripod censor decorated in beautiful colors with motifs of lotus, scrolling vines, chrysanthemums, and archaic chinese elements. With a gilt bronze fu dog on the top cover and three elephants as the censor legs. Slightly worn gold gilt over bronze is constant with age. Age: 18th/19th century. Size: Height 7.75" Diameter 5.25"

This is romantic set of 12 Schumann Dresden flower cups and saucers, with the 1900 era mark of Carl Schumann; the interior of each cup features a lovely courting scene and both cups and saucers have colorful floral and gilt decoration and raised diagonal weave borders. A lovely Kangxi period famille verte bowl and saucer dish set, decorated with truly fresh and vibrant enamels, and tightly painted with seasonal flowers and two pheasants perched on top rockwork...

This is a set of six Schumann Dresden style flower hand painted and transfer plates with reticulation, several faintly marked with the 1900 era mark of a Japanese copy, and lavishly decorated with courting scenes and flowers. Condition: excellent. Measurement: 6"dia.

A really extremely nice and decorative white glazed Jar. Well potted porcelain body with a very delicate molded decoration and four lugs, covered with a very nice clean-white glaze. H : 9,9 cm. Diameter : 9,8 cm. Condition : There is a filled hole in the bottom, further this piece is in a really excellent condition - not the smallest crack or chip, even all four lugs are in perect condition, which is rare to find.

Consists of six knives (7.5"), forks (7"), spoons (5.75"), two serving spoons (10", 8.5") and a serving fork (7.75"); total weight 31.1 Troy ounces. Box is 14.5" x 10". Excellent condition.

This is a set of 12 dainty Dresden flower bread and butter plates, with the mark of Helena Wolfson, ca. 1886-1891, with Deutsche blumen, shaped gilt rims and a fabulous raised swirl surface. Condition: excellent; some paint losses on the swirl ridges.Measurement: 5" dia.

An Oval Silver Tea Caddy; Made in Nuremberg, Germany, circa 1880 and Stamped Germany for export at a later date. Village scenes on each side. Weight 6.4 Troy ounces. Dimensions; 4.25" high x 4" wide x 2.75" deep. Has the "n" mark for Nurenberg and the number 13 (0.812 silver) on the lip of the bottom (both barely visible in the picture). Excellent condition.

An exceptionally rare turquoise-glazed porcelain vase or flask made in the Jingdezhen kilns, Jiangxi province,China, during the reign of the Kangxi emperor (1662-1722). The neck is decorated with upright plantain leaves, each shoulder with styalized lotus scroll design and applied buddhistic lion head. The central panels front and back feature the Hehe Erxian - the twin Immortals of Union and Harmony - one holding a basket from which has been released a bat, in flight amongst clouds...

A rare Yuan Dynasty ( 1279 - 1368 ) Shufu ware bowl with scalloped rim and a molded decoration. Diameter : 12,3 cm. H : 6 cm. Condition : Some glaze cracks and a hairline together with a repair to the rim. ( Please see the images. The gold color which covers the repair is easy to remove if anybody doesent like this ) A famous opportunity to acquire with a low budget a rare and genuine Yuan Shufu ware piece.
