This sterling silver ring features a ‘taco’-like folded design with a zigzag band inside sitting on its edge. The inside of the folded piece has been deeply oxidized with a translucent finish. The ring exhibits various kinds of tool marks. The ring is possibly Norwegian, with a mark of 925S inside the band; there are also maker’s initials of JPC, possibly for Danish silversmith Jens Peter Clausen of Copenhagen (1973-1981). This interesting openwork bronze pin is formed as a stylized horse and is based on ancient Nordic design. It has a lacquered finish to preserve the surface color of the bronze. The back has a secure curled C-clasped and the mark of Finnish maker Koravala Koru. The name of Suomussalmi, a region in Finland, is inscribed on the back as well. The pin measures 2 inches long by about 1 ¾ inches high at the ear.

Here is a hand-constructed cuff bracelet made of multiple wires that are joined at the terminals and kept in place by horizontal rings. The wires look to be silverplated; the rings and soldered terminals are white metal. The cuff has a good heft (56 grams) and an impressive look. It is also well balanced, so doesn't turn on the wrist. It measures a little over 1 inch wide and 5/8 inch high with an inner circumference of about 7 ¼ inches.

This impressive necklace bears the mark of jewelry designer Jacob Hull and the firm Buch and Deichmann, of Bagsvaerd, Denmark (1969-1980). Hull worked primarily in high quality silverplate, producing innovative designs of fine workmanship. The necklace has some heft, and is composed of irregular-shaped dollops of plated molten metal flanked by oblong links. Unhooked, it measures 32 ¼ inches long. Weight: 65.9 grams

Silver pendant and chain by Karl Laine, Finnfeelings, one of his Spider Web designs from around 1970. Mark for Finnfeelings, 925H, A for the town of Åbo / Turku, T7 for 1972 and Swedish import mark (three crowns and S). Diameter "1 2/5 / 3.3 cm, length of chain "24 ½ / 62 cm. Condition: fine.

A modernist sterling silver ring #A112 by Georg Jensen, designed by Vivianna Torun Bulow Hube. Measures 7.25. Has a highly polished surface. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval, 925 S Denmark and style #A112. In very nice condition with minor nicks and scratches. Great modernist design.

Here is a substantial 1970s handmade ring composed of a hammered disc mounted on a thick band. It is marked 925; there is no maker’s mark. The disc measures 1 inch in diameter; the ring size is about 8 1/4; the band is adjustable.

An Arts and Crafts style sterling silver pendant necklace with an intricate etched design and a bezel set dark purple cabochon, (maybe Amethyst). The bezel is gold colored and may be 14K but untested.

An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an abstract figural design signed with what looks like JPC, Iceland and 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1/2" high and measures about 7/8" across and 1 3/8" long. Has an interesting hammered texture. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

Of an organic design, with a concave disc bearing a group of applied spore-like elements. The finish exhibits a volcanic iridescence. The band is of graduated width, and is well-marked for Helsinki, Finland, sterling silver and the date symbol for 1971 in an impressed rectangle. A second rectangular mark reads E. Granit Co. Design Jewellery. The top measures 1 inch by 7/8 inch. The ring is sized at about a 5 ¼. Weight: 9.5 grams

A wonderful set by Niels Erik From consisting of a brooch with an amber cabochon and matching pierced earrings. Referred to as the 'Atomic' design. Would like to keep the set together, but will separate if someone is just interested in one part.

The brooch is made from 5 intersecting sterling rods with orbs at each end and a central bezel set amber cabochon. Measures 2 3/8" long and 1 3/4" at the widest. Has a secure rollover clasp. Marked FROM 925S. Has a warm patina.

This 1960s pendant is composed of what appears to be a very thickly molded pewter, roughly finished and suspended from a sturdy cable chain. The back of the pendant bears an unidentified maker’s mark of Å.A. Pendant measures 3 1/8 inches long by 2 5/8 inches wide. The entire necklace, including pendant and chain, drops almost 17 inches; it does not have a clasp.

A reticulated sterling silver pendant of geometric elements and elongated bale, suspended from an .830 silver chain. Both bear the marks of H.C. Østrem of Drammen; it's very unusual to find a pendant by this maker with its original chain. The script maker's mark also is not often seen. A modernist pair of pierced earrings in sterling silver, Calliope, designed by Zoltan Popovits for Lapponia Finland in 1978. These earrings feature an organic plant like design. The polished edges are in contrast to the textured surfaces.

An iconic "Lentils" necklace crafted in hematite by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co. Cummings began designing with lentil-shaped beads in late 1980 and it became one of her hallmarks. This hematite necklace is punctuated with a single platinum lentil pave-set with round brilliant diamonds (G/VS1). The brilliance of the diamonds is particularly nice against the dark color of the hematite. The clasp is signed "Cummings", "T&Co." and "IridPlat".
