A vintage sterling silver repousee brooch by Barrera in the style of Matilde Poulat, MATL. Depicts a stylized fish in lightly hammered sterling with two turquoise cabochons.

Signed BARRERA, Made in Mexico, and Sterling. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949).

Measures 2 1/2" across and 2 1/4" high. Has an early style 'C' clasp that holds securely. The brooch has a dark patina and minor surface scratches.

This lovely mesh handbag features painted flowers in pinks and greens on a whitish background. The yellow metal frame exhibits embossed scrolling and two decorative rings to which the chain is attached. The chain is composed of alternating oblong and figure-eight links. The silk lining is intact, but is wrinkled and shows two stained areas. There are no gaps in the meshwork, and all links appear to be intact. There is no wear to the decorative painting...

A Victorian 10k yellow gold garnets and pearls ring circa 1900. This size 5-3/4 late Victorian ring features two antique cut garnets flanking a diagonal setting with three seed pearls. It measures 1/2 x 3/16" across the setting, it weighs 2.3 grams and it is samped 10K with a JS maker's mark. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

This elegant stickpin features a stylized flower design, based on a Japanese family crest. It is marked “k20” on the back, and tests as a very strong 20kt, so it might be finer. The flower head measures 1/2 x 7/8”, and the whole pin is 2-1/2” long. It weighs 2.4g. The pin is a little bent, not surprisingly given the high gold content (please see photos), and course that can’t be seen when it’s worn, and could easily be straightened. Otherwise in excellent condition, and circa 1900...

A 14k yellow gold synthetic ruby pinky ring from the 1950s 1960s. This size 3-1/2 ring features a bezel-set smooth contoured synthetic ruby which has been faceted underneath and smoothed on top. The stone measures 3/8 x 1/4", this ring is stamped 14K M, it weighs 3.5 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

A 14k yellow gold purple tourmaline wirework bar pin brooch from 1915-20. This attractive pre-Deco 2-5/16 x 5/16" pin features a square claw-set purple tourmaline stone. It has a latch style safety clasp, it weighs 2.7 grams and it tests as 14k gold (the mark is obscured). It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

A 14k yellow gold ring featuring a teardrop cut genuine aqua blue topaz with two single point diamonds circa 1970s 1980. This vintage size 6-1/2 or 6.5 ring is 3/8" across the setting, it weighs 2.6 grams, and it is stamped 14K. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a scratch along the table of the stone (barely visible)...

A 10k yellow gold oval opal ring from the 1960s. This size 6-1/2 ring features a nice natural oval opal with excellent translucence and orange fire with green and blue flash. It is claw-set in a 1/2 x 3/8" setting and it weighs 2.4 grams. It is stamped 10K EJ and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a light dulling patina from wear on the stone...

This Kay Denning bracelet is 3/4" wide. The five links are enameled white with slightly raised red and blue "cookies". It is hallmarked twice Denning on the reverse. Fold over clasp. No damage to the enameling.

This Scottish agate brooch is 2" in diameter. It is not hallmarked.

This interesting beetle stick pin harkens back to the Egyptian revivals (early 1800s, and then again in the 1920s). Perfect for your lapel, the beetle is in very good condition (the pin is slightly bent, as is usual with gold stick pins), and is set in unmarked but tested 14k rose gold. The beetle itself is 9/16” x 7/16” at the widest points, and is held firmly in place by 4 prongs. The whole thing is 2-3/4” long...

Large Ottoman part belt buckle half, 19th century. Classic Paisley (teardrop) shape. Repoussé and engraved decoration of an eagle surrounded by flowers. Use of both hook and backside bars will make the buckle a perfect and beautiful pendant. The back with engraved name “Aine” in European lettering. Height "3 ½/ 9 cm, weight 49 grams.
