Greenish white jade bead necklace. It is made up of 45 beads. The central pearl is the largest, having a diameter of 15mm, the other pearls are of decreasing diameter. A vintage hand made long pendant necklace in an abstract design reminiscent of strung seashells in sterling and brass. Signed behind each of the the 'seashells' with a tiny 925, .45 and a Saguaro cactus hallmark. The bottom dangles are just marked 925. We have been unable to identify the artist.

The central pendant is a large sterling clam shell with 13 smaller dangling ones ending in hammered brass circles. Lots of movement.

This great 14Kt yellow gold and black (dark gray) freshwater cultured button pearl bracelet is a mid-century modern treasure. Each of the thirteen stylish solid 14Kt yellow setting links is centered by a 6.5 millimeter button pearl. The length of the bracelet is 7 3/8” and the width is 10 millimeters or 7/16”.

Simple yet elegant Mid-Century Modern pin is centered by a 6 X 4 millimeter oval faceted natural sapphire. The approximate weight of the sapphire is 0.62 Ct. The pin is 1 3/4” long and 3/8” wide at the widest part.

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring by Hans Hansen, designed by the Georg Jensen designer, Per Harild and crafted by the Georg Jensen silversmithy in Denmark.

Measures about a size 6.5-7. Somewhat adjustable due to the open nature of the design. Marked with the conjoined HaH for Hans Hansen, post 1945 mark for Georg Jensen, Denmark and 925S.

In fine condition. Minor scratches and nicks along the edges and a little tarnish. Thick sterling.

Modernist streamlined design.

A pretty late Georgian example of a Halley’s Comet pin worked in 14K (perhaps 15K) yellow gold and featuring a light blue paste stone to represent the comet’s nucleus. The paste is set in an elegant buttercup-type setting accented with an engraved gallery. Blue paste is less common than other colors, and makes a very nice presentation. The comet’s tail depicted in the engraved and voluted gold setting.

A highly collectible and rare gold bracelet by Carl Baumeister ( Austria-1867-1922) marked CB 750 both on the loop of the charm and last link. The bracelet measures 7" x 1/8" and the 3-D charm of Castor and Pollux is 3/4" round. Total weight 11.4Gr.

A mid-century, solid oblong bangle with niello marked Janiye Sterling. In vintage condition with light scratches. Inner diameter measures 2-5/8" x 2-1/8"~ width 3/8"~ 47.8 gr.

A stunning pair of 14Kt white gold, diamond and pink tourmaline earrings centered by a pair of cushion cut double faceted 10 X 8 millimeter tourmalines. The center stones are surrounded by full cut diamonds. The settings are further enhanced by two rows of full cut diamonds on the side and on the stem of the omega backs. The total diamond count is 178 diamonds with the total weight of 1.18Ct. The earrings have a combination of post and omega back closure that makes it very safe.

This simple yet elegant 14Kt yellow gold jade signet ring can be worn by men and women alike. The 12 X 8 millimeter oval cabochon jade is bezel set. The ring measures 19 millimeters across on top and tapers down to 3 millimeters on the bottom of the shank. This beauty is a size 10 and it can be sized.

A 12 X 7 millimeter oval cabochon opal with vibrant colors centers this great 14Kt yellow gold 1960-s cluster ring. The center opal is surrounded by 17 prong set round faceted natural rubies. The approximate weight of the opal is 1.25Ct, while the approximate total weight of all rubies is 0.85Ct. The overall measurement of the oval cluster is 18 X 12 millimeters. The ring is a size 9, but it can easily be sized.

This pair of 14 millimeter round cabochon coral earrings evokes the elegant 1960-s. Set in 14Kt yellow gold with a very secure combination closure of posts and omega backs. The bezel around the coral is decorated by a rope and twisted wire outer bezel. The total diameter is 17.5 millimeter.

This brooch measures 1 5/8" tall and 1 1/4" across the bottom. Has a textured inlay of multicolored enamel. There is a sterling inlay in the center of the enamel for an interesting contrast. Marked with fhb and Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds securely.

An elegant bracelet composed of open links ornately decorated in a pattern of acanthus leaves alternating with blue sapphire oval cabochons. The sapphires do not show indication of heat treatment. Each link is slightly curved, so the bracelet lies nicely on the wrist. The clasp is masterfully constructed to be invisible once closed. Based on an original, almost impossible to find Margot de Taxco design, the repousse "swans-in-a-row" bracelet I am presenting here is wrought in fine, .980 silver and is a little masterpiece. I think suggesting that "A.E.M", whose initials can be found on it, was a maestro who worked for the Los Castillo and/or Margot de Taxco is not a far-fetched hypothesis. A finely crafted late Art Nouveau 18K gold ring in the form of a lion’s head clasping an old European cut diamond in its jaws. A handsome gentleman’s ring, the front in the form of a horseshoe encircling an onyx cameo carved to depict a steeplechase scene of a jockey and horse leaping over a fence. An intricately designed 14K yellow gold chain comprised of a double row of reeded oval links enhanced at regular intervals with engraved acanthus leaf plaques. The chain is from the late Georgian or early Victorian period, and is completely handmade. The clasp is a large bolt, reeded to match the links. An elegant large-scale 18K gold hinged bangle bracelet with repousse floral decoration by Charles Armsheimer & Son. The design is so expertly worked that the hinge is nearly invisible when the bracelet is being worn. Armsheimer’s workshop was located on Maiden Lane, the heart of New York’s jewelry industry in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The tongue of the clasp is stamped “18K” and also has the maker’s mark for Charles Armsheimer & Son.

However, this is a very beautiful Egyptian Revival piece which ought to be vintage (or even antique) The enigmatic yellow stone does not appear to be glass and the metal tests as 10 k gold, but by this time uncertainty rules!
