Very large 18th century stipple engraving of a fashionable crowd under the trees in the park with Buckingham house (later altered to become Buckingham Palace) in the background. Titled, “The Promenade in St. James Park,” it was engraved by F. D. Soiron, designed by Edward Dayes in 1790 and published by T. Gaugain in London in 1793. This image is the original print with hand coloring. Sight size 18 by 26 inches, frame 27 ¼ by 35 ¼ inches.

We've seen a fair amount of Kilburne watercolors, as he was a pretty prolific artist of his day, but we think this is one of his better pieces. This is a fantastic oil on Masonite painting of Columbus landing at the Indian Islands. This painting is signed and dated 1921 by artist Frank Herbert Zeitler of Germany. Bakufu Ono, oban tate-e, one of the ¡°Great Japanese Fish Picture Collection (Dai Nihon gyorui gashu)¡±, dated 1951, published by Kyoto, Hanga-in, slightly toned, fine impression and color.

Created in the 1980s, Haku Maki did a series of rarely seen prints called Drop. They seemed to depict oil dropped onto the surface of water. Drop 7 is one of those prints. It is no. 32 of 203 and it measures 9.75in W x 11in H. As with many old prints, it has tape residue on the four edges of the back from a previous framing but there is no impact on the face of the print.
