Japanese 20th Century cylindrical vase by Living National Treasure KANAMORI EIICHI (1908-2001). KANAMORI was recognized for his metal inlay work and was considered to be the very best at this craft. The vase has a simple yet elegant design of a single tulip outlined in inlaid silver. The tulip is done in a rusty red color. The vase stands 9 7/8" tall by 3 5/16" wide at the top rim. Antique Japanese Doll by Kyoko: Dancing Sanbaso Ningyo Doll. This gorgeous doll with a face of Ichimatsu ningyo (doll) is approximately 18 inches tall on a 3/4 inch stand. The dimension of the stand is 13 inches x 10 inches x 3/4 inches. The crane is hand painted on the fabric. There are some fabric damages on the left side of her upper kimono (cloth) as shown.

Lovely Japanese Musician Dolls, high quality dolls made in Kyoto. The faces of the dolls are different from each other and they have more delicate feature than shown on the photos. Their clothings are made from beautiful brocades specially woven for dolls. The color of red is deeper than shown here. Japanese Mid 20th Century print of "White Heron in the Rain" by IDE GAKUSUI (1899-1982). Signed and stamped by artist in lower right hand corner. Also, title and date in lower right hand border. Printed in Showa 25, or 1950. The feathers of the heron are embossed. Fine color and impression. This is the first printing of this famous print. A posthumous edition was printed in HEISEI period. The paper measures 10 1/4" wide by 15 3/8" tall. The print measures 9" wide by 14 3/8" tall.

Japanese 20th century roof tile. The tile has a rabbit flying over the ocean, nicely carved into the top. The rabbit and waves are done in nice detail. The piece measures 11 1/4" wide, 10" tall and 6 1/4" deep.

There is the artist's stamp in the lower left hand corner and there is also a stamp in the back lower left hand corner. The print has been laid down on a thin board. This is an IVORY NETSUKE from a Maryland Estate. This is a DEPICTION of TWO SQUIRRELS on a LOG or BARREL. The size is 1 1/2" X 1 3/8" X 7/8" thick. This piece was carved in CHINA and is signed on the bottom. Date this 1970-1990 in EXCELLENT Condition

Serving plate. Over a grayish brown stoneware a geometrical design in blue, brown and green glazes, partly with fine crackle. Unsigned, but clay, color and design remind one of Mashiko ware. Diameter 10 ¼ inches, height 2 inches. Japan, 2nd half 20th century. Slight traces of usage (tiny scratches and water stains), otherwise very good condition.

This 1950~1960 carved wood fisherman is 7” high, 2 ½” wide and 2 ¼” thick. It depicts a smiling fisherman holding the catch of the day. The pant leg is rolled up on his left leg; so, he looks like he just walked out of the water. It is in great condition.

Lovely small plique-a-jour bowl on three small feet, design of flowers, good condition, size is 3 5/8" wide diameter by 2" tall, Showa Period (circa 1930's), Japan.

This hand strung tiger’s-eye, rhodonite and cloisonné necklace is 24” long. All the stone pieces are very well cut and polished. The color and quality are quite good, too. The clasp is made of silver. The necklace was a 1970~1980 product and is in great condition.

This hand made, gold plated over silver, ring is 1 inch long (measured on the top). It holds three amethyst stones. The large stone in the center is irregular. Two small ones on each side are round. The fancy workmanship makes this ring very dramatic and interesting. Since it was made as an adjustable ring, it can fit a male or female hand. Like Items 3358 and 3361, it also came from a Hong Kong jeweler’s collection. It is in excellent condition.

This hand made, gold plated over silver, lapis lazuli bracelet is 7 inches long and 3 quarters of an inch wide. There are seven lapis lazuli pieces surrounded by a wired floral design. The workmanship is wonderful and it is in great shape. It is a 1930~1945 product and came from the jewelry collection of a retired Hong Kong jeweler. The back has a woven pattern.
