This Chinese Famille Rose brush holder is 5” high and 3 11/16” in diameter. It depicts an old sage and his young servant in a garden. The Chinese title of the picture is "Mr. Yuan-Ming admires chrysanthemum blossoms." The date on the side of the brush holder is winter, 1925. The artist’s name is Tu Zhu-Zhung. There is a red maker’s mark on the bottom which says New China Company, Nan-Chang City. It is in excellent condition.
