A Japanese Arita porcelain plate or dish of circular form raised on a low foot. Decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a Kingfisher perched amid grasses and lotus fronds, the base has a running Fuku mark. In excellent condition, it measures 6 inches diameter and 1" high.

This is a Chinese Nephrite JADE PENDANT with a Carving of a LADY. The back has a depiction of a Leaf. Size is 1 5/8" X 3" X 1" in thickness. There is a pierced point at the top where a Pendant Bale can be attached. This Carving has a Primitive feel. Based upon what the original owner told me, this Pendant was purchased in mainland China. Date this JADE LADY circa 1950, perhaps earlier. FYI... the Stone easily passes the Jade Scratch test. Condition is Excellent...

Chinese dark green spinach jade wine cup. In excellent condition, it measures just under 3 inches high x 1 3/8" diameter. Includes stand.

Chinese porcelain “birthday” bowl decorated in famille rose enamels and gilt highlights with four round medallions each containing one of the four characters “wan shou fu jiang” (wishes for a long life without end) set against a turquoise ground densely covered with scrolling lotus. A yellow ruyi border extends along the interior edge and a key-fret border is on the exterior edge. At the center of the interior is a stylized “shou” (long life) symbol...

A pair of gold and silver Koi fish or carp paper weight by Hisamatsu Koshun (1926-1989). Signed. There are some abrasions; otherwise it is in good condition.

Classic Nephrite Cong. This is oldest Chinese form still used in its art today. The earliest examples were from the Liangzhu Culture circa 3400 BCE. It’s theorized that the square outer shape represented the while the inner round shape represented the Heavens. Nice nephrite jade - very smooth and tactile may be used as a toggle or scholar’s contemplation piece. H: 5.7cm/2.3in and W: 2.7/1.1. 72 grams.

Chinese Bridal Bamboo Basket, with Red Lacquer trim and handle, made during later part of 1800's to early 1900's, 19" high with handle and 7" high without handle, 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" wide, oval shape. Beautifully handcrafted basket. No damage.

Japanese Imari Porcelain Leaf Shape dish, late Meiji or early Showa, 1940, 6 1/4" x 6 1/2" wide, 3/4" high, very simple beautifully overglaze enamel Japanese Garden, Plum trees in early spring, Irish in summer, Chrysanthemum flowers in fall and Bamboo in winter, 4 seasons design above broad leaf on the bottom. The condition is good.

Vintage Japanese wooden okimono carved in a shape of a doll of Zen Patriarch Daruma enveloped in his monastic robe. Good size and unusually fat sculpture carved out of chosen matsu (Korean pine wood), its face done in ittobori (one cut) style characteristic of Hida school with clever use of wood colors and structure to add to the charm of the piece. Excellent sense of volume, pupils are inlaid with metal, beautiful patina. Signed on the back with 2 characters that can be read as KOKUEI...

Possibly from Yueli are of Nandan county, this antique Chinese ethnic minority Miao top could have been worn for every day It has hand batiked front and back panels and the front apron has hand embroidery accents on the batiked section. Pic 1 shows the back with the "apron"extention which extends to the top of the knees... Pic 2 show the front which ends at the waist... Fits a small woman and I mean small or could be used as a striking wall piece...

Chinese Famille Rose fine hand painted with overglaze enamel low relief Porcelain Pear shape Vase, 5" high, 3 7/8" wide-widest part, raised low relief design of butterflies, sprays of floral with geometric decoration on white porcelain body. Marked Qianlong red mark on the bottom but this vase is a copy of 1980's and will make very nice decorative flower vase. The condition is good, no damages.

A framed silk stitchwork embrodery picture of a Chinese pheasant in a tree circa 1920. This lovely 21" x 13-1/2" image size needlework picture is on silk with silk thread and it is in a 23-1/2" x 16" painted wood frame. It is in excellent condition with no foxing, tears, fading, frame damage, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor rippling to the silk canvas...

This vest made by Chinese Miao ethnic minority....from region of Huang Ping. It is roughly 50 years old... The amount and skill of the hand stitching embroidery and applique animal characters is wonderful...Cotton fabric appears to be homespun...The Miao of the region grew and harvested their own cotton Great wall piece..and will fit an average size man...

A fragment of old Chinese micro stitch needlework, 18" by 9 3/4" (23 1/2" by 15" in attractive black frame and light green backing material), the imagery including classic temples, vegetation, insects, and even two tiny figures (and maybe portions of sampan-style boats). The silk stitch is very small and intricate, the colors bright, though I do note that the edges are frayed and at top stained. Proper framing could hide this.
