Korean hanging Brown Lacquered Wooden Sword Rack, or Sword Display Shelf, vintage 1960, 26" wide, 22" high, 4 1/2" deep-bottom rack, three(3) Brass inlaid flying geese decoration on the top panel and 3 rows of the curved holders on both sides to hold each sword. This lovely cushion cover from Swat Valley is densely embroidered in mustard and salmon floss-silk thread in darning stitch on a black cotton ground. The motifs are typical of the embroidery of Swat and Hazara regions of Pakistan, geometric and curvilinear motifs outlined in yellow running stitch. The textile is in excellent condition and features a slit on the back for a pillow insert. It measures 38 x 38 cm. Estimated age: mid to late 20th century.
This textile is from Jaghori in central Afghanistan. It measures 25 x 26 centimeters and is in excellent condition. It is embroidered in cross stitch in silk thread and tightly worked into an overall composition that is very typical of the embroidery from this area.

Chinese carved Rose Quartz Snuff Bottle, Ca. 1940, 3" high, 2" wide, 1/2" deep, with Rose original top and spoon is attached to the top, shows some wear and stains.
Cotton kimono with Miura Shibori and dyed with vegetable indigo. Hand-sewn and shibori is also hand-tied. In excellent condition except for indigo faded parts. 20th century. 128cm x 140cm

Japanese Oribe Ceramic Basket with handle, 6" x 7" wide-shaped fluted floral pedal top, 5" high, 3 1/2" diameter-bottom rim, greenish turquoise color drip glaze blended into creamy color glaze, and carved leafy design outside top area. The condition is good, no damages.
Basket from Northern Burma probaby from the Rawang or other Kachin related group. . Approximately 50 or 60 years old. Increasingly difficult to source, this is a fine example of Burmese tribal basketry. Condition: good natural polished feel to the surface, a couple of “breaks” on upper rim of basket. The hole in the handle lid seems to intentional, as it has the same wear as the rest of the piece. Dimensions: 20cm/8in height 15.5cm/6.2in diameter.

Two hand-embroidered diamond shaped white silk emblems of a pair of cranes, enhanced by gold-thread outlines, on a kikko hanabishi background in multicolor yuzen dye technique between two bands of bright orange-red. Unusual vintage Chinese soapstone brush rest for a scholar’s desk carved in a form of a Chinese boy resting on his knees, the front part of his body leaning on a huge ball. Nice face, beautiful patina, great feel of age to the piece. Length 3 inches.
