This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". This is quite an unusual piece, has good heft and is in excellent condition.

Structuralist bracelet & earring set by noted modernist Paul Lobel, who produced innovative jewlery in his New York studio in the 1950s. Consisting of ridgid sterling silver links and matching earrings with their original srew-back mechanisms. The bracelet has an integrated hidden hook clasp. This bangle, no. 314, is striking. Designed by Annette Kraen for Georg Jensen, it is open at one part of the curved silver band and has five disks worked into the design. Such a dramatic bangle is rarely seen. I've not seen any since I bought it in 1986. Seven years earlier, in 1979, the bangle was first launched. It is no longer in production.

A great, 950 sterling silver cuff bracelet by Haroldo Burle Marx with a large bezel set 'Forma Livre' opaque black carved stone.

This impressive 2 3/4" sterling silver cuff studded with 30 amethyst cabs was hallmarked c. 1940 by Manuel Altamirano, senior silversmith in Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda. Rare kinetic showstopper designed by Bent Gabrielsen while he worked for iconic Danish silversmith Hans Hansen. In textured sterling silver with a dangling disc that has a gold wash. The disc has a pitted texture which contrasts beautifully against the vertical pattern of the body of the pendant. This is a large, bold piece, measuring 3.25". Excellent condition. This fabulous vintage Mexican Bracelet has a stunning design similar to the work of Antonio Pineda - it's signed with the initials AP but they differ from the more common Pineda hallmark and we're not sure who the artist is. It's a massive piece measuring 7" long, 1" wide and is quite heavy at 115.5 grams. Early style pin closure. No damage noted, just some light wear and tarnish and the Amethyst stones have the typical inclusions. A fantastic bracelet that any collector will love.

Excellent, elegant circa 1940s necklace by William Spratling, arguably the most important name in Mexican Silver. Heavy for it's size, this solid liquid silver necklace is constructed of hollow silver bars over seven silver chains of variying lengths. This design is understated, and extremely rare.
