We present a Japanese Hanging Scroll of the famous painter Kano Eisenin. This is a real poetic and romantic theme in Japanese culture - Crescent Moon.

Kano Eisenin Michinobu (1730~1790) was the 6th of Kibikicho Kano-ha.

His father is Kano Furunobu, and his son is Kano Korenobu. In 1762 he was given rank of Hogen when he was 33 years old...

A Martin Hall Victorian English silver plated meat dome. This 12-1/4" x 9-3/8" meat dome or cover was made by Martin, Hall & Co. of Sheffield, England (1854-1934). This table serving piece features a bolted and pegged finial with a wing nut and it stands 8-3/4" high. It is stamped 1127 EPNS with the maker's mark, and it is in excellent condition with no monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than one small penpoint protruberant dent and a nearby shallow penpoint dent...

Large Burmese hammered repousse copper-brass-bronze alloy bowl decorated with 8 relief panels depicting mythological animals and stylized scroll foliage. Such bowls were used in Buddhist ceremonies. 19th Century, Burma. Bowl shows wear over the many years and has a natural aged patina. Good condition. Chinese antique Blanc de Chine figure of the warrior woman, Mulan. She is standing with one hand raised. She wears a wide rimmed hat and elaborate armor. The figure is delicately modeled in porcelain and finished with a clear glaze. The last two characters, of the the faint impressed seal on the back, read Yi Ren. Republic Period. A Kannon Bosatsu wooden statue from the early Meiji Period (19th century) with rests of its original paint.

It is a unique peace of buddhist art, as it bears on its back a writing with black ink from a Samurai. The charakters mean Saikoku Sanjusansho (The Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage), made by 'Yasukuni Joza' in the status of Bushi (Samurai) in Bungo area, Oita Prefecture.

There are no similar pieces to find. It is really matchless and singular...

We offer a beautiful deformed and heavy Japanese Bizen stoneware tsubo. It has expressive signs and spoils of the pottery making.

The brown colour with a little descent of yellow and orange are giving a smooth warm radiance to the viewer.

Antique Mandalay Burmese style bronze gilt with silver buddha on a lotus base. The Buddha with earlobes touching shoulders extends his right arm out while the left arm holds his robe aside. The base is rounded. Obtained in Katmandu in the 1960s, made in the 19th century. It measures 6.75" toll 3" in diameter at base.
