19th Century Chinese Gilt Bronze Filigree Hunting Knife Horn Handle Gemstone Mounted

It is 12.7 inches (32.5 cm) long by 0.8 inch (2.2 cm) wide. The blade is 6 inches (15.2 cm) long by 0.6 inch (1.5 cm) wide. It is 125 gram.

It is tarnished and has cracks at the handle and rust at the blade and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Pretty Edwardian sterling silver picture frame. Made by Mauser in New York, ca 1900. Rectangular window and wide border engraved with scrollwork, foliage, and pendant bow-tied flowers. At bottom are 2 torches, a motif rich in metaphorical possibilities. Top has shaped cartouche (vacant). With glass, silk lining, and velvet back and hinged support. For portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including no. 1520. Good condition.

This pieces was made at Jingdezhen kiln famous for blue & white ware and exported to Japan where people loved blue & white ware called "Kosome" in Japan. It has auspicious patterns, beautiful blue color. And it has tiny roughness on the edge of mouth, however it is a character of works made at Jingdezhen kiln, Japanese people loved them because they didn't like perfectness. A small bud vase, enamel on copper, France c 1900, possibly Limoges. Decoration of a branch of thistles in Japonisme style over a guilloché patterned ground, the interior a brilliant blue. Height "2 ¼ / 6 cm. Condition: some wear around mouth rim and base (cf. pics).

A pair of antique Chinese Horseshoe chairs made of solid Zitan wood. They each feature a 3 section S-curve back splat with floating panel seats and a front that has an apron with a cloud motif and a foot stretcher. The back splat has symbol carvings related to the boar.

This is one of a pair of wooden (not papier mache) footed plates made for export. The central medallion Japanese scene is classic and the rim has ornate panels with animals and plants. Each side has handle shaped and painted as an ivy leaf.

On the black lacquered back is the rement of a very old label with indistinguishable Asian characters...

Chinese monochrome peking glass bowl made of golden amber color glass. The rim flares slightly, the foot shallowly recessed and marked "China".

Classical Victorian hallmarked bangle bracelet with three rows of tiny fleurons and X shaped patterns running horizontally across the bangle with reeding in between. Our bracelet is hallmarked 1883 Birmingham and is in pristine condition. It is approximately 1/8 inch deep, 1 inch wide, and measures a fairly ample 7 3/4 inch in diameter, suitable for most any size wrist.

This is the Tsutsugaki curtain used in the Edo period. This was made in the Kyushu region. It is made of fine cotton that is hand spun. This is a person expressing a wooden raft that flows through the river in the season when the cherry blossoms fall. This pattern is a pattern called flower raft. This is a very idyllic depiction of the boatman's expression. The design of the boatman on the raft to go down the river where the cherry blossoms are falling is very elegant and beautiful...

A Substantial George III Silver Coffee Pot, by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, London 1774. Dimension; 11.5" high x 9" spout to handle; weight, 33 Standard, 30.1 Troy ounces. Initials LHP and "Llewellyn S. Parsons" on base (see picture), prior owners. Excellent condition.

A rare large antique Japanese Kuruma Tansu (wheeled chest) made of solid quartered sawn Keyaki (zelkova) wood with hand forged iron hardware and wooden wheels. Sliders are made of burl keyaki hardwood. The upper portion of the chest has a large compartment opened by sliding panels with horizontal slats and a heavy hand forged iron latch. The bottom portion has two large drawers...

Japanese early 20th century iron kettle by KIRYUDO. This pot is done with a pair of crane on a pine tree design in low relief on the front side of the kettle. The handle on the lid is done in the shape of a pine cone. KIRYUDO is done in chop mark on the back side of the kettle along with some other illegible characters. This iron pot measures 9 3/4" tall (from base to top of upright handle), 7 1/2" wide and 7 1/8" deep.

A pair of Cizhou vase was in the same form of floral mouth rim but with different glaze.
They were found in same origin.
They were unique in different characteristics.
The black vase was decorated on the bulge body with ribbed lines when another vase was painted with green slip on the surface.
They were both in very good condition with obvious incursions to the glaze.
One minute glaze defect was found at the lower portion of the stem foot...
