Pair of Chinese antique carved chairs with dragons, carved of very heavy hard wood with beautiful grain and medium brown finish, curved arms with dragon arm rests, back splat with dragon in swirling clouds, each chair has 4 dragon claws for feet, apron is carved grapes and vines, each chair has 10 dragons, made for export, circa 1900. Size: 33" high x 24" wide x 24" deep.

A rare Yuan dynasty iron spotted jar with cover, rounded side with globular body and unglazed base, rounded cover with curve motif at the top, jar and cover decorated with under glaze iron brown spotted and covered with good bluish white qingbai glaze.
Jar and cover is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.

A excellent potted shape, a excellent glaze and Cobalt blue, a excellent execution of the decoration - this dish is definitely done in an Imperial quality. Ming Chenghua mark but Qing Dynasty, probably of the Kangxi Period ( 1662 - 1722 ) There are also Daoguang dishes with a quite similar Dragon design but if this piece would be a Daoguang dish it most probably would bear a Daoguang mark. Kangxi pieces often are marked with a Ming Quenghua mark - thus the Chenghua Mark on this dish together ...

A rare Song dynasty longquan celadon conical shape washer, rounded side with inward rim and unglazed base, washer decorated with raising lotus petal motif at the exterior, covered with deep green glaze.
Washer is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, good porcelain with ping sound with finger tip.
Size: 13 cm diameter.

A very rare and high value Yuan dynasty under glaze copper red yuhuchun vase, rounded side with pear shape and open wide trumpet mouth, vase decorated with under glaze copper red of continuous lotus flower motif at the exterior, vase covered with good qingbai glaze, Yuan red under glze vase is rare because of high difficulties in making, very rare to find similar yuhuchun vase in this very good condition.
Vase is in very good condition no chip, no crack no restoration, very small glaze nick...

During Burma's Konbaung Dynasty (1752-1885), official announcements were made to the townspeople by a King's Representative accompanied by two gongsmen, who would customarily alert the town to their announcement by striking the maung...

Kammavaca manuscripts are a quintessentially Burmese artifact that reflect the general reverence afforded to the monastic system in that country. To Western eyes, they are usually just highly decorative ethnic handicrafts from an isolated and exotic culture...

This is an absolutely charming American folk art painting depicting an idyllic country scene. The work, done in oil on academy board, shows a woman with a sleeping child in the foreground, while in the central distance can be seen a group of building, above which are a richly colored sky and clouds. On the right is a small waterfall with a shepherd surrounded by sheep. The trees and foliage throughout the painting are limned in a whimsical folky style...

This is Japanese yosegire Patchwork katazome jyuban Rare in Edo period. This jyuban does the patchwork with wonderful fabric such as itajime shiko-shibori katazome boshime yuzen in Edo period. It is very beautiful. There is damage in the part of the wave of the back and the chest. There is a little stain. However, it is very good overall. size:141cm x 123cm (55.5" x 48.4")

A Very Fine Koryo Bronze Covered Bowl with a beautiful Patina Korea, Koryo dynasty (11th -14th century) Thinly cast, of slightly compressed globular form, mounted on a smoothed flat foot, the cover of waisted domed shape, the smooth patina of blackish olive with some encrustation. It’a in unusually fine condition without any damages at all. It measures16.3cm x 12cm d. (6.5” x 4.75”).
