Beautiful ink painting of sumie grapes. There is an inscription and cartouche. It measures 24.25" wide 88" tall overall, the image measures 15.75"wide 58.25" tall.

An 18th century antique wine glass, English lead, with a flared bell bowl, plain stem, rough snapped pontil, and folded foot. Simple, but with elegant form, this glass is 6 5/16 inches tall, 2 15/16 inch bowl diameter, 3 1/8 inch foot diameter.

An antique set of 4 Huanghuali lamp chairs. Marble frame inset on back splat. Ancient archaic motif with beautiful Huanghuali grain. With a carved square floating medallion hard seat and a refined carved Han archaic style apron. Four bracing stretchers support each of the chair legs.

This old Chinese child's cloud collar was hand sewn by a proud Miao Ethnic Minority grandmother. The ornate embroidery stitching includes applique and daiz which is misnamed the forbidden stitch by Westerners. The collar is in excellant condition and is 9.5 inches in diameter

Very refined earthenware vase, from the Satsuma kilns, with polychrome enamels, presents a decoration of courtesans (bijin) and a child under a flowering tree with on one side, in the background, a cottage at the foot of a hill. At the base of the collar, the shoulder is covered with chrysanthemum flowers. A barely legible mark under the base in a red lacquer cartouche, partly covered by a collector's label, could be attributed to Fujan (?). Height: 15 cm. Period: Meiji (1868-1912) 19/20th.

A Magnificent Victorian Silver Plate Cake or Brides Basket or Tazza, with a Swing Handle. Circa 1860-1880. Dimensions; 12.5" in diameter x 4" high x 11" to handle; 5.5" diameter at base; substantial weight 37 oz. Excellent condition (note that photos show reflections, the plating is in excellent condition). There is no maker's mark.

This is a remarkable piece of history - an exquisite bronze short sword or dagger blade from the Mycenaean period of Ancient Greece, dating back to approximately 1500 B.C. The blade showcases an intricate design, with a double-edged tapering shape that tapers towards the tip. The central rib, which runs through the blade's center, is particularly striking, adding to the weapon's aesthetic appeal. The blade also boasts a short tang with a rivet hole to attach a handle...

The forked arrowhead (karimata) was named after its resemblance to the V-formation flight of wild geese. Such arrows of different sizes were highly prized on the battlefield and for hunting large game. The Japanese arrowheads, many resembling miniature spears, were made in hundreds of varied shapes of folded, tempered steel.
They were attached to the bamboo shafts by means of long, thin tangs (Nakago)...

Large Antique Japanese oribe ware tebachi, or ceramic container with handles. The inside and outside edges are hand painted with scrolling leaves and flowers. Round ribbed body tapers at the foot, thick dripping blue and purple glaze around handles. 19th Century Size: 10.5" H x 16" W

A large glass shade in the 'chipped ice' pattern, made by Handel around 1900. The shade is 8 1/2 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide and has an opening of 3 3/4 inches. It is in fine condition. It is signed, 'Handel 2916'.
