A large kitchen storage jar that was made in North Korea. The Jar is an example of Korean folk art, and it has hand painted blue and green designs on a white base. There is brown staining to the exterior and interior surfaces, where the contents (probably soy sauce) bleed into the stoneware. There are two side handles for carrying. The jar measures about 16" high x 12" in diameter, and dates to the late Chosen Dynasty...
This porcelain plate was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1855 and 1875. The marking is hand painted in gold. It measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The decoration on the porcelain is molded in high relief and the border is slightly scalloped. The design is inspired by the famous Meissen swan service. A pair of swans are accompanied by herons in the reeds and in flight. They are hand painted in vibrant colors. Stylized flowers, in traditional Hungarian design, decorate the border...
An antique tall Kasane Tansu (stacking Kimono chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron and bronze hardware. Upper section features a pair of sliding doors, a lift-out door and 6 drawers of varying sizes while the bottom section has 5 large drawers, a small drawer and a hinged security door that hides two small drawers where valuables were kept hidden away...
Antique Tibetan Prajnaparamita made of patinated bronze. It has an elaborate crown framing the face with angular facial features. The figure is seated in royal ease pondering a shell in its right hand. The left hand holds a lotus sprig with traces of orange pigment. The figure has traces of prance, red, and yellow pigments. The robes are incised with a floral design. 20th century.
It measures 12.25" tall.
Sterling silver sauce ladle in Watson's 1911 "John Adams" pattern. The complete simplicity of the pattern is reminiscent of Colonial American silver, and it would look good mixed with any other pattern. Sauce ladles are a bit smaller than gravy ladles.

Large Burmese hammered repousse copper-brass-bronze alloy bowl, with traces of silver, decorated with various mythological animals and stylized scroll foliage. Such bowls were used in Buddhist ceremonies. Bowl shows wear over the years and aged patina, 19th Century, Burma. Size: 15 cm x 26 cm. (6" x 10")
Large lanceolate hand axe made of a flake of tan quartzite. Bifacial tool with carefully worked front side. The rougher back side with fewer removals. Cutting edges and surface weathered by sand and wind action.
This type of tool making stands for the presence of Palaeolithic populations in North Africa.

Song dynasty brown glaze jar or beaker. Nice glaze inside and out till lower portion of base which is unglazed. In very good condition apart form one small chip at rim. Diameter 3+ inches at rim.
A picturastic painting was done very well on wood in 19th century.
It was painted with mineral pigments and was kept nicely in aged mood.
No cracks or restorations were found.
It still needs a frame work to be as a hanging piece.

Superb Japanese Antique Antler Netsuke: Gamma Sennin Edo Pd
Delicately crafted stag antler netsuke figure, late18th/early 19th century, Edo period; of a Gamma Sennin standing with a frog on his shoulder. Size: Height of this fine carving is 3 inches. Condition Report: Good condition with some wear and small age crack to the right of the figure's rob.
Antique Chinese tripod censer that comes with a tall, circular stand. The lid of the censer has a playful fu dog as a finial. The front and back of the censer features a cylindrical panel with flora and fauna upon a textured background, and the handles on each side appear as large fu dog faces. Late 19th century circa 1890.
