A rare Chinese Jin to Yuan dynasty Cizhou russet splash big bowl. Unlike a lot of other russet bowls, there is an additional painted floral decoration at the center of this bowl, according to the tradition, bowls with this kind of additional work were meant to tribute into the palace. This is quite an unusual mace head from ancient Persia, likely dating to around 1200 BC. It is decorated with incised linear patterns and small spikes. There are 5 spikes on each of three segments. This piece came from a large private collection of axes and spears. It is solid and stable with no apparent repairs or restorations. It weighs 418 grams and measures roughly 13 cm in length.

This porcelain platter was produced in France by Haviland & Co Limoges around 1900. The platter has both an underglaze and printed mark from the factory. The diameter of the platter is 12 3/4 inches. It has a beaded gold border. The transfer decoration of large pink roses is set in a burgundy ground. There is ornate gilding accenting the border. A rectangular dish, kakunagazara, made for the Japanese domestic market decorated with an auspicious manji-tsunagi, wan diaper, gilt brocade ground inset with ume hana, plum blossom inset with niche like lobed reserves containing stylised Camellia, Tsubaki. The central reserve, mikomi, window, containing geometrically arranged stylised Bamboo, take, Bamboo shoots and grasses with mist or clouds in Kumo finger form painted in underglaze blue...

The Japanese tantutu pistol has a octagonal russet iron barrel, with flat sighting plains on top and bore of 3/8". A stock dai of Keyaki wood and brass plate jiita of the arquebus's firing mechanism. Mounted for display on a custom museum iron mount.

Antique Japanese single section mizuya (kitchen tansu). Made with keyaki (zelkova elm) wood on the front with beautiful grain. Two large storage compartments with sliding panels. One with wire for ventilation and display. The lower portion of the chest has two drawers with iron warabite shaped drawer pulls.

The best Victorian bed we've ever had or seen, this half tester American bed, circa 1860, is absolutely beautiful. It measures 10 feet tall, 83 inches long and 68 inches wide. It takes a queen size mattress. Its in all original condition with the exception of the top having been recovered. Probably made in New York by Prudent Mallard.

Vintage silver bracelet set with 7 Egyptian faience scarabs. Each beetle is mounted so that the hieroglyphic writing on the underside could be seen. The largest scarab in the middle. Beautiful blue coloring consistent with fine faience. Stamped silver.

This Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368~1615) bronze temple guardian is 13 ½ inches tall. The halo is a replacement and part of the mirror in his hand has been repaired. The weapon he carried is gone. Over all, it is in pretty good condition.
