This is a fabulous painting dated 1930 by Shirakura Niho enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Ko-Ten-Bo-Setsu (Twilight Snow in the Bay). Antique Chinese celadon stoneware bowl with green glaze. The bowl has subtle textures, the center has a faint lotus flower encircled by an incised line, the body has radiating lines from the center, the rim of the bowl is slightly recessed. It measures 14" in diameter, 5" tall. The base has an unglazed ring where it was fired in the kiln and the unglazed ceramic can be seen.

It is 23.1 inches (58.7 cm) tall by 9 inches (22.8 cm) wide. It is 16 Lb.

It has rubbing of paint and gold, skip glazes, stains, firing cracks at the bottom, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).
