A large heavy stone sculpture of Bull Nandi, Indonesia, Early pre-Majapahit style of the 9th.-11th. cent. AD.

Done by a master sculpture in the finest style for the period. A very lifely divine bull in a recumbent pose atop a double square deep base with the right frontleg with the knee bent. The head turned and the tail swept to one side and outlined adornments.

Tokkuri (alccol bottle) made of hard porcelain. Mikawachi kilns. Japan early 19th century. The bottle has an unusually elegant, typically Japanese shape, it was created for the Japanese market and not for export. The porcelain, immaculately white, has a very fine grain similar to that of marble, which is typical of Hirado clay. A lake landscape decor subtly drowned in mist is painted in a luminous cobalt blue...

This is a beautifully carved nephrite jade ring whose exterior is encircled by a sinuous dragon. The interior diameter is one-inch (1"); exterior diameter is 1-3/4" at the widest point. The stone is a medium celadon color with tiny areas of a darker inclusion. This is an authentic product of the Qing dynasty, not a later product misleadingly labeled "Qing," and it is guaranteed to be of the period...

This rare pottery jar was made around 3,000 years ago. Although we are not certain from which Neolithic culture it originates, it does have similarities to pottery of the Xindian Culture (c. 1200 - 500 BC). This is a very fine Japanese Satsuma shallow footed bowl. As can be seen in the images the workmanship is top level. It is 4 5/8 inches across and 1 1/2 inches tall. The piece is in excellent condition.

Antique Japanese shinto shrine mirror. The central motif has a turtle and two cranes beaks meeting in the center. The background has pine trees, paulownia, plum, and bamboo branches with a turtle walking along the shoreline. The characters under the heavens, are marked under the central turtle.
