Pawlonia (kiri) wood with black iron hardware. Late Meiji to early Taisho Period (circa 1900 - 1920). 26 1/8" wide x 24 3/8" high x 13" deep. Very good solid overall condition. There are a few old repairs to the right sliding door, which is a bit difficult to slide open...

12 Lenox Porcelain encrusted wide Gold Rim Plates with white Berries, made for "Tiffany & Co.", Ca. 1915, 10 1/2" diameter, encrusted gold leafy vines with white Berry, marked "Lenox, Tiffany & Co." in green on the bottom, and marked "X 10 1/2"/F49" in gold upper bottom area next to bottom rim. There is a small chip on the bottom rim and some worn spots on wide inner gold rim.

Japanese late Meiji to Taisho period Tokyo style rectangular naga hibachi with beautiful zelkova (keyaki) wood grain. Five storage drawers on the front have copper warabite handles. A removable rectangular wood insert is placed over the fire container which contains an original copper liner with nice patina. Two inset carrying handles are at the sides. Early 20th century. Measures 13" high (15 1/4" high to the top of the wood insert) x 26 3/4" long x 14 1/4" deep...

Three Chinese Export flat plates from the Kangxi period. Decorated with the "100 antiques" motif in the Imari palette and gold. The rim in underglaze dark brown. Condition: minor wear to gold. Two plates with few tiny rim frits and flakes and with total 3 rim chips (see picture 10). Dimension: diameter: 22.5 cm.

Royal Copenhagen cup and saucer with gold trimming. The cup is adorned with a crown and a calligraphy design. Both cup and saucer are stamped with the maker's mark of Royal Copenhagen. The saucer is 5 inches in diameter and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height.

Porcelain covered with green glaze to the foot with incised floral scroll and lotus petals, unglazed concave base. PERIOD : Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 8 cm wide, 6.5 cm tall. CONDITION: no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restoration.

A set of 5 mid-size dishes in the shape of half opened folding fans. On the bottom of each a decoration of two wheels, floating in a river in iron brown underneath thick cream-colored opaque glaze, and the right-side corner covered in thick green glaze typical for Oribe. The inside structured through the impression of a muslin-like cloth.

A Chinese storage or makeup box made of rosewood, with old glass mirror panel on the front door. Late Qing Dynasty or early Republic period. Condition: the key for the door lock is missed; the mirror is faded; joint separations and small chips on wood. Antique Japanese chawan (tea bowl) made in the Iga Ueno - Shigaraki area. Beautifully sculpted and decorated with natural glazes which have melted to wonderful green and brown crackled drips. Perfect example of "wabi-cha", the style of Japanese tea ceremony that emphasizes simplicity. Shigaraki is known as one of the 6 great pottery regions of Japan. With a signed tomobako.
