Extremely Rare Hina Kazari. This the only complete set we have seen accept for a set that was sold at auction in Japan. They are presented on a sundry. The set features an Empress and Emperor, three Court Ladies, and five Musicians. Meiji Period. Fashioned of silk crepe with beautifully painted faces. Figures range from 4 to 5.5 inches high (10 to 13.5 cm). Overall dimensions: 28.5 x 23 inches, 72.5 x 58.5 cm. Excellent Condition.

Japanese set of 12 flathead piercing tip arrows. Polished, forged steel tips. Mounted on a circular presentation base. This superb late 19th century export ivory carving is 11 ¾” high, 4 ½” wide and 3 ¾” thick. It depicts daily activity in a small village. There are houses, temples and pagodas surrounded by a river, a forest of pine trees and mountains. There is an old repair on a pine tree, some small losses and several hairline cracks on the top of the tusk. Considering its age, it is in great condition.

Beautiful Chinese antique vase, 18th century (Kangxi Period, 1662-1722). It is sculpted in double gourd shape and painted with various scholar scenes and glazed in white and blue. Continuous scenes depicting figures in a landscape are a common motif in Transitional porcelain, they often referenced popular plays, histories or poems.
