Antique Chinese porcelain serving vessel with green and blue enamel dragons accented by gold and red fireballs and floral motifs on the outer and inner rim. The handle has a braided form with gold enamel design. The foot is slightly recessed and outlined in green enamel.

Dragons charge the sides of this large water urn covered in crackled pale glaze emblazoned with a panel which specifies: Water for the 11 Faced Kannon (Quanyin). Inside is lined with iron glaze. Outside key frets surround the rim leading to a nearly flat shoulder upon which blossom five petaled plum flowers. Below this the dragons vie in the tempest, with the base drawing precipitously covered in Shipppo designs (7 treasures). It is 38 cm (15 inches) tall, 34 cm (13-1/2 inches) diameter...

A vintage Japanese Geta Bako (chest for shoe storage) made of Tochinoki (Horse Chestnut) and Hinoki (Cypress) woods. Two sliding doors hide a storage area separated by 2 removable wood shelves. Bottom drawers provide additional storage. The Geta Bako was traditionally used at the entrance to a Japanese home to allow family members to remove and store their shoes before entering the home. Futonji (bedding) with tsutsugaki phoenix and paulownia tree design which is made of hand-spun cotton and vegetable indigo dye and colored with pigments. Phoenix is an imaginary and sacred bird by Chinese lore which perches on paulownia tree and eats fruits of bamboo. Tsutsugaki technique is excellent with fine freehand line. In excellent condition. Antique Japanese circular jingasa with a gradually pointed top. Textured to simulate leather and lacquered a bronze color with red and gold lacquer on the underside. The raised, carved lacquer kikusui (chrysanthemum and water) mon is covered in gold leaf. The Kikusui mon was used by Masashige Kusunoki, a samurai lord who helped overthrow the Kamakura Shogunate...

A Very Large/Heavy/ Fine Chinese Dark Spinach Jade Seal(?)with a Fitted Box: China. A very heavy large jade carved in high relief with a recumbent mythical beast on a square formed dark spinach nephrite jade for a paper weight or seal?, with some natural fissure lines, soft yellow hued stome marked and an opaque creamy white patch line on the top. It’s in good condition without any chips. Meaures:18cm x 18cm across face , and 11cm high, weighs 8.8 lbs (4 kgs) respectably.

H. 14,5 cm. One side decorated with a landscape with figures, the other side with flowers. Condition: firing crack in the neck, age cracks in the glaze. Comes with the original Christie's sticker, the original certificate and the invoice from 1992. The Vung Tau sank in 1690 on its way from China to Batavia, Indonesia. The cargo was meant for Amsterdam. The wreck was found in the early 90's and it's content was auctioned at Christie's Amsterdam in 1992...

This is a beautiful antique porcelain vase from the Fukagawa factory. It is beautifully painted and has extremely fine enamel work. Look close at the cherry blossom images to appreciate this great artistry. The vase stands 9 3/4 inches tall. Condition is excellent and there are no condition issues.

Unusual Japanese Kiri (paulownia) tansu with 8 drawers and a lift away panel opening to a shelved interior with spacious room. The 8 front drawers feature small round locks and warabite pulls. Original finish and condition.

A beautiful Annan tea bowl with silver repair (gintsugi) and fine sense of "aji" bestowed by age. Ornately decorated with flowering chrysanthemum, the skillfully applied silver repair to the bowl implies that it was treasured by its previous owner.

A fine hammered copper tray with handles from the workshops of Gustav Stickley in New York. Measures about 16 3/8", 19" across handles and weighs over three pounds. Tray was polished long ago and patina has aged, shows some wear and stains. Joiner's compass mark.
