A unique custom made antique Japanese winter door coffee table on iron stand with built-in brazier-style display area. A rare inkstone was found from a famous painter and scholar of Qing Dynasty - Zen-Yu 曾燠(AD1759-1830) .
The inscriptions on the inkstone were as follows : Dauguang 6th year (1826) Nan-chen, Zen-Yu(道光六年南城曾燠) .
On the reverse side, the motif of a crouching deer was well carved.

American Colonial sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany in New York, ca 1920. Bowl has curved sides and straight circular foot. Spare historic design that works equally well in Modern interiors. Ewer with short neck which has two lugs and wide foot which has a cut foot rim. The handle is flat and double-grooved. Glaze brownish celadon. Height=18cm. Five Dynasty-Song 10th-12th century. Condition : Excellent, firing crack to the foot, without damage or restoration.
