with this very fine quality pair. They have finely carved faces, and are
lacquered with many coats of gofun (white oyster shell pigment). They are adorned with
sumptuous silk brocades and silk armor, indicative of Edo Period Ningyo

Antique Japanese set of 7 lotus leaves and blossoms. Carved of wood and lacquered gold. Made for a Buddhist temple altar, these leaves and blossoms symbolize the stages of the path toward enlightenment. The individual parts of the lotus are carved separately then joined in an arrangement. Sold separately or together. Each comes fitted with a custom metal stand.

An interesting, rare and unusual, Buddhist Dehua image of a meditating Luohan in a cave overgrown with branches, his hands holding a begging bowl. This is a well-known motif of the Ming dynasty. Superb quality antique solid silver large serving spoon that features a musketeer figure.
The spoon's stem has low relief on both sides and showcases a detailed standing figure of a French Royal Musketeer playing the bugle. The musketeer is dressed in a typical 17th-century elaborate musketeer uniform with a cape, a sash across the torso, and a feathered hat on his head. His left-hand rests on the hilt of his rapier sword, and he wears musketeer bucket top boots on his legs.
