Fascinating Taisho Period C.1920 tea ceremony bronze tripod incense censor. Almost art deco in design and feel. The Murashi-do bronze was dipped in hot oi at firing to create the mottled patinated colorings. The handles are elephant heads. Chinese Porcelain red glazed bowl dating to the 20th Century. The bowl has a maker's mark on the bottom and added spot drilled markings on the interior. The bowl appears to be a communal eating bowl with an owners marking. The interior mark translates to "battle ax" which may indicate it was used by a military man. The bowl measures 2 1/4" high x 6 1/4" in diameter. Condition: The condition is excellent with the added mark and some kiln flaws. Free shipping within the USA.

A Houtien jade pendent was in flat cicada shape.
With original drilling holes at the tip for hanging, the jade piece was covered with unique black stone crust comparing to milky white tint of the pebble.
It was preserved in very good condition with one minute restoration to the lower right rim and some frets in a limited way.
They were caused from old age.
Date: Ming Dynasty, 15th/16th century.

This box is silver plate from the United States or possibly England of the Victorian era. The marking on this sewing box is partially obliterated, but we could make out the mark C&W on the bottom. We were unable to identify the marking. It measures 4 inches high, 3 inches deep and 1 7/8 inches wide. The box has 3 drawers. One is marked pins, one for needles and one for buttons. A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all. It comes with a well formed lid that is beautifully designed. 7 inches high without lid (8.5" with lid) x 7" diameter.
According to the estate, this spoon was brought back from the Philippine Islands. It was reserved for use by a person of tribal importance, referred to as a "prestige spoon".
