Chinese Qing dynasty "GE" type saucer dish. 12'6 cm diameter. Good conditions.

Small Chinese Export cup and saucer, first part of the 18th century, Yongzheng or early Qianlong. “Batavia” brown glaze with reserves of flowers in Imari colours and gilt. Diameter of saucer "4/ 10.5 cm, height of cup "1 ½/ 3.5 cm. Condition: wear to the gilt, one hairline each to cup and saucer (cf. pics).

A Chinese Export coffee cup, Qianlong, mid-18th century. Decoration in puce and gilt of flower garlands in European style. Height "2 ¼ / 6.5 cm. Condition: a hairline.

A bulbous vase finely painted in Famille rose enamels, the decoration depicting the eight horses of Mu Wang, the Queen Mother of the West. Four-character Qianlong mark in over-glaze blue to the base. Height "9/ 23 cm. Condition: severe damage and repair to the neck (cf. pics).

A Chinese Export double handled cup, a chocolate cup. Under-glaze blue decoration of a seascape with pagodas, diaper and scroll borders. Qianlong period, c 1760. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: wear to the little dragon “ears” of the handles, otherwise fine.

A rare pottery Jug with handle in red terracotta with the spout moulded as a human face and with eyes and brows drawn in black and cream. The arms on the belly drawn as well, all on a red glazed ground. Costa Rica, pre 15th. century

Size: ca. 12 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice, hairline repair to handle, othervise in perfect condition with preserved glaze. A very attractive vessel!

DESCRIPTION: A large and masterfully carved Chinese shou shan stone (soapstone) seal in tall rectangular form, the knob carved with a crouching dragon having both wings tucked back covering its sides, and whose mouth is poised to grasp the sacred pearl. On each flat surface of the base are engraved inscriptions and characters among idyllic scenes of rivers with boats, hills, houses and pavilions. Antique Japanese small tansu from the Sakata region, with original red lacquer top and sides and black lacquer front. The top and bottom drawer are decorated by large iron lock plates, incised with a bamboo forest, blossoming cherry trees, and small flying birds. The corner hardware on the face of each drawer also show floral motifs.
