A scarce and attractive laten spoon with figural top in an unusual condition with preserved gilding, English c. 1630.

The top with a half length female bust and having a wire ‘gulley’ down the flat and bevelled tapering stem and a round touchmark in the oval bowl. The touchmark unusually crisp with the three keys and the lettering for the maker in London.

Chinese brown glazed pottery granary jar, with cylindrical shape, decorated with bands of incised lines, and supported by three legs in the shape of bears. Lead glaze with copper is the main colorant used in Han period to produce brown glaze. Brownware became popular during the Eastern Han period.

Ancient ca. 800-450 B.C. central European Hallstatt culture. Celtic Bronze Torc Torque of penannular form, circular in section, with hammer-flattened terminals curled into delicate tubular loops.

CONDITION: beautifully preserved with a rich green patina.

Diameter (max.) 11.7 cm (4.61 inches). Weight: 60 grams.

Porcelain decorated with carved floral on the center, unglazed base. PERIOD : Yue ware 10th Century MEASUREMENTS: 12 cm width. CONDITION: no chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restoration.

This pottery jar of "hu" form was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and comes from Shaanxi province in the northwest of China. This is a very rare and finely carved jade tubular bead with raised collars. It dates to the Costa Rican Nicoya and Guanacaste period, C50 BC. It is 4 3/4" long and 1/2" thick. It has a beautiful patina. One end has a single break (shown in the pictures). It has been professionally repaired and does not distract.
