A large string of egg yolk / butterscotch Baltic amber, in a variety of rich hues. This necklace is possibly very old: there is crazing to the amber surface, and many of the beads show significant age wear.

Condition: good antique condition...

Antique Chinese bitong (brush pot) made of boxwood (huangyang) burl. Beautifully gnarled surface. Foot and mouth made of carved ebonized rosewood.

A very rare large white Chinese vase. Very difficult to find an original white vase like this. The production of white glazed wares was not very large, yet their quality was generally rather high.This one has a symbol of a human figure painted inside most likely done by the those who owned the vase. Chinese green glazed noodle making bowl, 5" high-maximum height, 8" diameter-top, green glazed, early part of 1900's. This is the bowl making home made noodle in the kitchen. Push the dough into the holes, and become instant noodle coming out of the holes. Incised Chinese Character mark on the bottom "Great". No major damages, there are some wear and tear from the use in the kitchen for many years.

Chinese pottery figure of courtman, trace of original with red, white and black pigments remains in good condition.

The bowl is decorated inside with ducks and enamel plants in the style of the "Famille Verte" we find the colors fired at low temperature aubergine, green, some very rare touches of blue and the fragile iron red, detail in gold. Earthenware with glassy, low-fired glaze on the garment portion with some patches of silvery iridescence that have developed over time due to burial in damp tombs over long periods. This figure has an unglazed head that was originally detachable but is now fixed in place with recent adhesives...

From our Chinese Blue and White Collection, a very fine Kangxi (1662-1722) Mark and Period porcelain dish depicting a scholar with two ladies on a terraced pavilion, bordered by two bunches of flowering branches on the outer rim. The scene is probably derived from an earlier wood-block print. The reverse is decorated with flower sprigs on the outer rim, with a well-drawn six character Kangxi mark of the period contained within double circles in the center...
