We offer from our private exhibition a Tibeto-Chinese large and heavy gilt bronze four faced Amitayus Buddha from the late Qing Dynasty ( 1644 - 1912 ).
The Amitayus ( Bodhisattva of Longevity ) is seated on double-lotus throne in dhyanasana and with both hands in dhyanamudra.
The statue is 17,1 inches high and 7,5kg heavy!
It is marked and in great condition.

Guangxu mark and period, 1875-1908
The interior is well-painted in various colors of overglaze enamels, having a central Shou medallion surrounded by four auspicious characters rendered in gold with red outlines on a white ground. The reverse is painted with two flower sprays over the clear glaze which covers all but the exposed footring. The six-character Guangxu mark is painted in two vertical lines in dark red enamel. The yellow enamel has some areas of light wear from use...
Here we like to offer you a 100 year old bronze Guan Yin Statue (kwan yin) from China with traces of gildet laquer. It is sold together with its wooden stand.
She is riding a foo lion / fu dog and is holding a droplet of water in her left hand.
The Guan Yin is in good condition. It has no repairs and shows only some wears of age, which emphasizes the antique charakter.

A rare Yuan dynasty blue and white square jar, jar decorated with under glaze blue of flower motif at each side (chrysanthemum, lotus, peony, Indian lotus). at the top there is two dragon motif around the rim, unglazed base.
Jar is in good condition with minor crackled at glaze surface, very small chip at the dragon motif, no restoration, good Persian blue color.

A suburb Chinese Boxwood carving of a warrior riding a horse. This wonderful carving is masterfully carved and has a rich patina. The warrior's face is wonderfully expressive. He holds his weapon out to the side creating a diagonal to the sculpture that makes it sharply dynamic. Height: 11.5 inches, 29 cm.

Up for sale from our private Buddha collection is this bronze gilt Guanyin with a well carved six-character Xuande Mark.
She is seated in rajalilasana with an expression of peace and serenity. The Guan Yin is wearing a tiara and loose robes falling over the shoulders with lots of images.
Please notice the rare throne with its face on the arm rest and the claws on the base of the throne. Very seldom and rare.

Large Chinese Guanyin made of Jade, with changing jade colours from light green to green, yellow, grey and black, the figure is seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus flower, one hand holding a bottle of elixir and the other hand raised in apan mudra.
The artist has put together three pieces of jade, the buddha, the crown and the lotus seat to a spectacular Guanyin statue with very detailed carvings...

Antique Chinese pair of yellow glaze bowls with incised flying dragons and clouds of smoke along its outer edges, and a single dragon within double rings on the inside center. Wonderful crackling in the glaze is most apparent near the rim and the foot of each bowl. The bottom of each bowl has a Xuande period mark, but most likely dates from the 19th century Ching Dynasty.
Size: 3.25" height, 6.5" diameter
This early 20th century ceramic table screen is 7 inches tall, 5 ¼ inches wide and 2 ¼ inches deep. The front middle panel depicts landscapes; the side panels depict flowers and mushrooms. On the back of the middle panel there is a phoenix in spirit garden. Two plum blossoms are on side panels. It is in great condition.
Height approximately 11.5 cm. Star hairlines at the base. In good condition.
