This is a late Qing dynasty bamboo design yixing teapot of rectangular shape. It is dated to the Tongzhi period (1862-1874), late Qing dynasty. All the sides are shaped with the bamboo design, including the spout as well as the handle. The cover has two bamboo leave of dark green colour. On the base of the teapot, it shows the Tongzhi reign mark of the Qing dynasty. Also on the cover, it bears the seal mark of either the potter or the seal carver.

Two very unique and richly painted Chinese porcelain hat stands of the late 19th century. Charming scenes of the traditional family relaxing in an open garden setting, the garments are painted in various bright colors against a backdrop of nature. Condition is excellent with no hairlines or chips, just some minor rubbing of the gold trim and very trace fading of the details, yet all details are distinct and complete. This is a classical form Song dynasty small moulded longquan or celadon dish with appliqué twin fish in the centre and an everted flatten flatten mouth rim. The exterior is moulded with an overlapping upright lotus petal radiating from the foot. The dish is glazed with an uneven light green colour with glaze crazing.

This early 20th century yellow vase mounted as a table lamp is 20â high, 6 ÂŒâ wide and 4 Âœâ in depth. The vase is 8 ÂŒâ high, 5â wide and 3 Âœâ in depth. On both the front and back, it depicts a 5 clawed dragon floating between the ocean and the clouds. Eight immortal symbols are on both sides. The vase had been drilled and mounted on a cut out and embossed brass base. It is in great condition.

This very nice carved hard stone brush rest is a mid or late 19th century product. It is 6â long, 2 3/8â high and 1 ÂŒâ thick. It depicts a reclining ewe facing her young kid; both of them are holding a branch of LingZhi (靈芝) in their mouths. It is very well carved and designed. It is in great condition.

This is a qingpai ewer or jug from the Song Dynasty. The qingapi ewer is of sea greenish hue. It stands on a recess 2 tier base with a curving body of a baluster or bulbous shape extending towards a flatten shoulder and then a mildy everted neck and mouth. The body is also lightly incised with some form of design. This is a shipwreck item.

Chinese bamboo caving of Shoulao, the deity of longevity. He is sometimes referred to as the Old Man of the South Pole. His attributes include his large forehead, representing wisdom, and his long beard to show longevity. Shou Lao also holds a long staff and a peach branch to also symbolize a long and prosperous life. Shoulao is carved with a small boy riding a deer, who holds a magic box from which a bat flies out (an auspicious motif) and a crane.

This is a thinly potted bowl depicting the Buddhist's eight auspicious signs which is found on the sole of Buddha's feet. They are the mystic knot, fish, wheel of the law, lotus, canopy, unbrella, conch shell and the jar. The bowl stand on a short recessed foot-rim and into a U-shaped body. At the base of foot-rim, it has the honorific four character seal mark of Qianglong reign. Cir. second half 19th century, possibly from Tongzhi period.

This is a very fine pair of Spinach Jade Birds perching on a tree branch that is nested on a carved wood stand. The artisan has taken advantage of the jade skin to highlight certain areas, such as the lightest (celadon) color for their peaks, the darkest (spinach) for their body, and mottle portion of the stone for the birds tails. This very detailed and realistic version of the birds are in excellent preserved condition.
