Punchbowls such as this would have been status symbols for wealthy society wives in America and Europe during the 18th century...

Four different pages from a 17th/18th century Tibetan manuscript, painted on thick paper each with four images of Goddesses holding various attributes with traces of inscriptions beneath each. Largest 36 x 13 cm. sewn cloth at top. Some damage and losses as shown. Can be viewed in central London and shipped worldwide.

Large Chinese Guanyin Temple statue made of Jade, with changing jade colours from light green to green, yellow, grey and black. This solid figure is seated on a double lotus flower, one hand holding the pearl and the other a vase.

The Guanyin is in great antique condition with very detailed carvings. Absolutely rare and one of a kind. It dates from the Mid Qing Period (circa late 18th. century)...

In bhumisparsa mudra (calling the earth to witness). Carved in hardwood, then lacquered and gilded. H. 52 cm. Condition: wonderful original condition with expected age wear. Provenance: Dutch private collection.

An interesting Japanese Arita saucer form dish decorated in a transitional style incorporating elements of the Kakiemon style, notably the asymmetric elements within the reserves to the outer rim of the dish, with Katamono style motifs dating to the late 17th century or early 18th century and made for the domestic market. A fine quality early eighteenth century dish decorated with a rather unusual Indian “sarasa” pattern with a Buddhist theme. The design is composed of flowers arranged in columns and rows. Inset within the “sarasa” ground are three lobed niche like reserves each containing a Dharma singing bird, emanations of the Amitabha Buddha, that reside in the Buddha’s Pure Land paradise...

Chinese 18th century bronze censer with six character Xuande mark at the base. 18cm wide, 12,5cm mouth rim diameter. 7cm high. 1387 gram weight. Censer has single soft dent at the body (please see on the picture), no crack, no repair.

Chinese Late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Gosu Akae Kokutani Kogo (Incense Container).
Very popular among Japanese high society, it was exported from China to Japan in the early Edo period (1603-1868).

Late Ming Early Qing Dynasty Chinese Blanc de Chine (Dehua) Porcelain Tripod Censer The elegant cylindrical body is encircled by four sets of raised double bow-string bands. The censer is supported on three carved floral-shaped feet, and is gently covered overall with a blanc-de-chine glaze with an exception of the interior and base unglazed. Size: 8.1 cm tall, 12.4 cm long, 11.5 cm wide. Condition: Excellent.

Late Ming Dynasty or Early Qing Dynasty wine pot or teapot. The cylindrical body moulded with a simulated ribbon applied with a chilong-shaped handle and spout, the cover surmounted with a knop in the form of a small coiled chilong, covered except for the recessed base with a creamy white glaze. Size: 15.8 cm high. Condition: excellent condition. No chips, hairlines, cracks, or repairs.

A rare Ming dynasty 17th century Dehua Blanc De Chine large censer with lion mask motif, rounded side with two eras covered with white glaze, good condition no damage no chip no crack no restoration, size: 15 cm diameter.

Chinese porcelain sleeve vase decorated with Qilin, banana trees and other motifs in under glazed cobalt. Qing Dynasty, Shunzhi period. Condition: There are some small potting-fault spots on the body, otherwise in perfect condition. Height: 16-5/8".

This marked bowl is one of 2 bowls which do come from an old German colletion. The condition of the glaze of the bowl is so perfect and glossy that it simply is impossible that this bowl an excavated piece. The glaze of this bowl is so much better than the glaze of excavated pieces so that this bowl must be an rare unearthed piece which already in very early times - maybe hundreds of years ago - came to Europe.
