A superb Collector's MING DYNASTY, CHUNG-CHENG (1628-1643), BLUE AND WHITE SNUFF BOTTLE depicting several figures in action as well as seldom encountered relief/carved/raised masks on each side. The base is marked with a double circle and 4 Chinese Characters of the Period. The neck of the snuff bottle has special pattern décor markings. The stopper is genuine Jade-Jadeite and comes with a spoon.
Size: 8.5 cm.
Condition is very good overall considering the age of this bottle...

Chinese qingbai porcelain bowl, egg shell thin body with pale celadon crackle glaze. The well of the bowl incised with two swimming fish over waves, the edges slightly lobed, the rim left in buff. The exterior body is ribbed down to the short foot, and the base of the foot slightly recessed and left in buff.

Two pieces of very nice and symbolic shard from the Ming dynasty. The first shard to the left, has a coin design in the centre of the bowl with the lotus lappet surrounding it. The second shard, to the right, shows a lotus flower in full bloom. The lotus is considered a scared flower to the buddhist - a symbol of purity and perfection.
