This is a perfect celadon longquan kiln waterpot or jacket from Song Yuan era

19th century Asakusa school staghorn netsuke in manju shape with openwork carving of a winged water dragon in flight among clouds. Superb design and excellent quality sharp carving, beautiful warm patina, darker porous areas as is usual with staghorn. Loss to the part of the inner ring (not visible when manju is put together, photo #5, lower right image) not affecting integrity of the piece. Diameter 1.6 inches.

Chinese Qing dynasty rectangular form hardwood stand with four inward curving legs resting upon small balls. The stand is carved on the curved apron with vines and lingzhi fungus. Top: 17” long (about 18” at apron) x top: 10” wide (about 11 1/4" at apron) x 7” high. Weighs 6 lbs. 19th century. The stand was more recently refinished and is in very good overall condition. A few of the balls twist a bit but are secure. From a Sun City West, Arizona collection.

Antique Yixing - I Hsing teapot decorated with enamel floral and bird. The bottom of the teapot signed with the seal mark. PERIOD : late 19th Century MEASUREMENTS: 21 cm wide, 12 cm height. CONDITION: frits to the inner of the lid, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

This is from Qing Dynasty or Republic era beadwork headgear of chinese noble lady , like those portrayed in those old classic chinese painting in the courtyard where you can see them wearing it....and carrying a walking stick.....

Very unusual late Qing Dynasty (1890s to 1911) Chinese scholar’s rock in a form of a natural mineral cluster wonderfully resembling a prickly pine tree. The stone is many-sided, providing different complete views. Beautiful object with extraordinary rich textured surface, fixed in newer fitted hardwood stand. I believe the mineral to be aragonite. Wonderful object for contemplation on scholar’s desk, beautiful patina. Height with stand 5 1/8 inches.

Antique Chinese jade archer's ring. The edges are hand-carved with the image of a chimera over a crosshatch ground.

A wood brush pot was in nice form.
It was well preserved despite the bottom cover was lost and was replaced by an old plank of wood.
The surface was in kind of dry-feel and in pale tint. But I believe it can be transformed easily by rubbing with wood wax and changed to a beautifulcolor.

SPLENDID ANCIENT BEADS NECKLACE
EGYPTIAN FAIENCE HYKSOS BEADS, 1550 BC
ROMAN PERIOD, 1ST – 2ND CENT. AD

Impressive wearable necklace featuring Roman agate, carnelian and rock crystal beads beautifully recomposed “Restrung” using authentic ancient Egyptian faience Hyksos beads, terminated with sterling silver clasp so it can be safely worn today.

Carnelian was thought to cause the blood to circulate smoothly throughout the body...

A pair of small bronze foo dogs or foo lions created by the lost-wax casting process, showing traces from the mold. Both have a wonderful warm patina and would make excellent brush rests for a calligrapher's or artist's detail brushes. In excellent condition, they measure about 2" long x 1.5 inches high.

Pair of early 19th century Japanese sword menuki depicting egrets wading in a stream with swirling water, grasses and flowering water lilies. Elegant design, bronze with silvering and gilding, overall in very good condition. Length 1 3/8 inches.

Round chawan, bowl used in the tea ceremony, with straight sides and a foot with three incisions. The very fine clay has an incised décor of standing and flying cranes and three minogame, covered in a celadon green, translucent glaze with fine crackle.

Impressed seal next to foot: Akahadayama.

A vintage necklace in fine twisted silver wire of ancient clay mummy beads and a large faience amulet of Bes, Late period to Roman period, c. 600-100 BC.

Size: 43 mm. for the amulet, the necklace is 29-30 cm. in a double row. Incl. a couple of - probably modern but old - charms in bronze or cobber.

Condition: Nice Very fine and intact.

Provenance: Collection of Gunna Munkvad, Denmark, aquired from the 1960s-1980s.

This is a circular copper scholar’s ink box with etching of a love poem on top of the cover. It has three seal ark on it, one on the extreme right and two just below the two below the name of the author. 18th century good size iron Japanese sword tsuba with decoration of Kanzan and Jittoku in conversation According to a legend, Kanzan and Jittoku lived in a kitchen of a Chinese Zen Buddhist monastery and talked nonsensical language, which some took as a sign of them being enlightened. Wonderful design, beautiful applied gold decoration of their robe patterns, crisp metalwork, in great condition. Height 3.23 inches.

A small box beautifully decorated with two different kind of hardwood veneer, probably zitan and huanghuali. Early 20th century. Condition: good vintage condition, there is one chip on the end the the cover. Please see photos for detail. Dimensions: 9-1/4" X 2-3/4" X 1-3/4".

Inkstone of rectangular shape, decorated in relief with an oval basin beside two dragons in clouds, in the style of Warring States period design. Light celadon jade. China, early 19th century, maybe earlier. Length: 9.2 cm. Tiny chips, otherwise very good condition.
