A Pair of Burmese wooden seated disciples, with calm facial expression, lacquered and gilded with inlay of colorful glass pieces on the borders of the robes, one of them sitting in adoration posture. Traces of original lacquer and gilding remain in excellent condition.

Chinese antique painting table, all solid jumu (elm) wood, very strong traditional construction, original dark brown worn lacquer finish, beautiful grain especially on surface of table top, 19th century. Size: 32" high x 40 1/2" wide x 19 1/2" deep.

This very nice archaic style bronze incense burner is an early 20th century product. There are stylized dragons over the entire body and three small elephant heads as decorative handles. On the top of the cover, a lion with a large tail plays with a ball. It is 11” high and 6” at the widest part. It is in excellent condition.

A wonderful Tibetan lama statue, made of gilt repoussé copper, dating from the 18th or 19th century. The figure still has it's original ornaments hanging from the shoulders. H. 30 cm W. 21 cm. Condition: expected age wear to the gilding, a few cracks in the copper. The ornament (probably a bottle) in the lama's lower hand is missing. Very good condition considering the age.

A Very Fine Sea-Green Celadon Conical-Shape Tea-Bowl: Korea, Koryo Period, 12th Century This well potted conical shape beaker, tea-bowl applied overall with a beautiful sea-green crackled celadon glaze, set on a raised ring foot, a incised ring on the interior, its foot rim unglazed and bears some spur marks, It’s in very fine condition without any typical noticeable damages at all. Measurements: 12.7cm d. x 4.8cm h.

This is an old mitsuore ningyo (triple jointed doll) from the Meiji period (1868-1912) or possibly earlier (late Edo period). The body of this doll was made with the Ikkanbari method. In this method, layers of washi (Japanese paper) were glued (lacquered) together over a wooden mold to form the shape of the body parts. It was then coated with layers of gofun, the mixture of ground oyster shells and animal glue...
