A Pair of Silver Open Salts with a clear glass liner; from Germany (Augsburg?), dating from the late 19th century. An open work design features a mythological figure of a bird/animal. The dimensions are 3.5" x 1.5" x 2.5" high. There is one original spoon with the set.

This late 19th century ivory carved Buddha with two children is 8 ½ inches tall, 3 inches wide and about 2 inches thick. It depicts a smiling Buddha (Hotai) standing on a rock, his left hand is holding prayer beads; his right hand is holding a small fruit. There are two young boys sitting on his shoulders. The statue is mounted in a frame, like a shadow box. The framed piece is 11 ½ inches tall, 6 ½ inches wide and 3 inches thick...
This rare Japanese 19th century painted ivory snuff bottle is 3 ¾ inches tall, 2 inches wide and 3 quarters of an inch thick. The base inscribed with a four character Qian Long mark. Both sides depict ladies chatting in a garden. The workmanship is superb and it is in excellent shape except slight retouching on the bottom.

Very rare early Ming Dynasty Hongzhi period ( 1488 - 1505 ) blue and white bowl with Tibetian Sanskrit inscriptions.
There are also bowls of this type from the Ming Wanli period, but for Wanli the glaze of this rare bowl is too white, and so this bowl definately is from the Hongzhi or Chenghua period.
Perfect condition . D : 13,4 cm.
A " must " for any Kollector of Ming Blue and white minyao.

A 18th century high quality Javanese Bronze figure of a Guardian with the atribute of snakes. A so called " Land - Bronze "
I think that it might be possible to find out, how this special kind of Guardian ( because of the snakes ) is named. H : 8 cm.
I am not familiar with Japanese porcelain, and so I cannot date this nice piece, but with a magnifying glass it it possible, to see all all the fine scratches on the surface of the dish, which is a sign, that this dish is old.
