Inrô of three black lacquer compartments decorated with raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) of ducks on the water or in flight on both sides. One of the faces shows four ducks (one per box) in different postures among a decoration of stylized bamboo leaves. The upper one in flight, head to the right, the second facing left and about to land, wings spread apart, the third in a resting position, head on its wing, the fourth on the water, leaning its head forward...

Inrô with four lacquer compartments representing eagles: eight on one side, seven on the other, one on the upper side called ten; sometimes posed on a rocky promontory in takamaki-e and kirigane lacquer, sometimes in flight near the sea. Bamboo branches. Bottom in fundame and hiramaki-e lacquer. Interior in nashi-ji lacquer. The eagle motif is relatively rare in Japanese iconography. Most of its representations are found on older lacquerware. Ojime in red lacquer...

This Japanese antique tsutsugaki textile fireman coat Sashiko Edo era(1800-1867), has a beautiful and dynamic drawing of a hawk that spreads its wings and flaps powerfully on the bold waves. This powerful hawk movement is a painting that is rarely seen in the firefighter Sashiko. And the sharp eyes of the hawk are very impressive. There is a light stain on the bottom wave, but it is not noticeable...

A extremely rare Southern Song ( 1127 – 1279 ) Guan ware, Guanyao washer. The well potted body in a very nice shape covered with a grayish-sea-green glaze with a highly attractive crackle. The light grey ware burnt brown in the firing. Guan´, the official ware of the southern Song court, is perhaps the most admired and desirable of all Chinese ceramics. This rare washer is probably an excavated piece. Diameter : 17,2 cm. H : 5,3 cm. Condition : Perfect.

An exquisite Chinese black lacquer and gold gilt sewing chest with multi colored lacquer panels and a rare built in mirror that swings out. The exterior feet are carved in the image of large winged gold gilt bats with red open mouths and the box still has its original key that locks and unlocks both the top and bottom drawers. This sewing box has all of its original ivory sewing tools that were hand carved in deep relief...

He was regarded as one of the Four Masters of Ming painting. He was born in Changzhou County (now part of Suzhou) in the Jiangsu province. He was also known as Heng-shan Jushi and Ting-yun-sheng.
