This piece is a fantastic specimen of Southeast Asian art from the 12-13th century Khmer culture. It was cleaned several years ago by the previous owner but does retain some of its original patina. It appears to have been crafted in two pieces and is cast from either a copper or possibly a silver alloy - though I have not had it tested. It is just under 19 cm tall and weighs 335 grams.

Description: A beautiful shipwrecked late Southern Song longquan celadon dish with its charming glaze was kept in very good condition except some glaze friction on the rim. A massive bronze figurine from the medieval period, Islamic, Seljuq Empire, 10th.-11th. century AD.

The lion stands erect on 4 legs and incised details of the mane and head. A particularly charming specimen with finely made features of the head of the Lion, heavy body and seperate legs. Would have been quite expensive in the medieval period with it's high weight of solid bronze and nice workmanship.

A rare and massive European Gate key, Late Medieval, ca. 14th.-15th. century.

A very heavy key with kidney-shaped bow and a very thick stem and bit. Remnants of copper plating on the surface.

Size: 21,3 cm. long and 8,3 cm. wide over the bow! Weight: ca. 300-350 grams.

Condition: Basically intact with very heavy patina and corrosion and loss of metal to the bit.

Tang dynasty jar covered with celadon green glaze, unglaze flat base. MEASUREMENT : 19 cm height, 18 cm wide. PERIOD : Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) CONDITION: small chips on the rim, no cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.

An important large seated bronze figure of Buddha, Thailand, 15th.- early 16th. century AD.

Lovely buddha in an exceptional quality and condition. He is crowned and seated in the deepest of concentration, in the "Samadhi" - meditation mudra.

Made by very skilled artisans with a fantastic expression; highly arched brows, downcast eyes and the distinctive extra line around the mouth. Three stepped throne with sharp lifted corners...

This interesting piece is from the Khmer Culture of Southeast Asia, dating to circa the 12th century AD. This piece has three individual parts that all fit together snugly and appear to be original as a set. There does appear to be a repair to one of the handles but both handles are still present. The diameter of the piece is a little over 15.5 cm and the weight of the entire set is 617 gram. This is quite an unusual set and would enhance any antiquities collection.

This nicely translucent Rose Springs was found in Colorado. It measures 1 5/16" X 11/16". It is made from a beautiful translucent waxy agate. It comes with a Jackson COA. A very nice point.

This interesting pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. It is made from a fairly high-fired pale grey pottery. Decoration is fairly simple with strips of clay applied to the upper body to form four lotus leaf panels...

A finely potted Zadou was in nice form.
Well glazed in golden tint, the ware obtained the time-enduring characteristics by immensely spread crackles, the iridescent effect reflected inside the body, the spiral-like scars left at the bottom (they were caused by the potter when they moved the vessel from the mill by a wire.) and the old-looking surface.
It was kept in perfect condition except some time-caused frets on the mouth rim...
