A beautiful bronze paper weight in the form of a dog/lion. It is a very detailed casting in solid bronze with a deep brown patina. The shishi measures about 4" high x 6 3/4" long, it weighs 43 ounces, and it dates to the 19th Century. The condition is excellent with some casting flaws. There is marquetry every place that there is wood. The marquetry is highlighted by bronze trim all around it. It has cabriole legs, also with bronze trim. A Chinese porcelain, scalloped edge, leaf shaped dish that was part of Canton pattern dinner set, exported from China to America, during the late 19th Century. The Canton pattern can be easily recognized as it shows a bridge with no man, and has a cloud border. The dish measures about 8" long x 6" wide, and 1 1/4" tall. The condition is very good with a couple very small frets and a chip on the foot rim. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.

An Indonesian wooden theater mask, showing the monkey god Hanuman, a popular Hindu deity also found in Buddhism and Jainism. Reverse with two old lables. Condition: little wear. Dimension: c. 20 cm x 15 cm x 9.2 cm.

Chinese hard stone brush washer carved into a gourd bottle shape, with two separate pockets for brush washing, the top carved with smaller gourds and spiraling vines, the bottom carved smooth. The stone is light green with orange areas.

A Chinese porcelain puzzle tea pot with famille verte color palette motifs of flowers on flecked enamel ground. The teapot is in the shape of the Chinese character "fu" meaning "good fortune". The piece is hand-painted in enamel with the image of a court official and vase on one side, and an attendant holding a flower on the reverse side. Old restoration.

Pendant of rectangular shape ending in a triangle on its top, with a loop for possible attachment to a necklace. The pendant is decorated with an embossed design of tribal style representing Hindu god Virabhadra standing with his four arms and weapons/attributes, and surrounded by a dotted aureola. It is made of genuine golden yellow Baltic amber that is opaque yet glowing and slightly translucent in bright light. It shows signs of old wear and has been repaired with silver/white metal staples and a band of braided wire around the circumference. A superb quality very large pottery figure of a male attendant or official, dating to the earlier Ming Dynasty, 1400-1500 AD.

The figure is placed on a high hexagonal plint and wears a fine two-colour blue and turquoise glazed robe. The unglazed areas have pigmented colors in red, black and white. Finely painted facial details.

The head is attachable as often seen on the largest figures from this period.
