Wearable, rare Northern Chin, woman’s, ceremonial, embroidered skirt circa 50 to 80 years old, Chin State, Burma. All hand woven in two panels with a silk warp and cotton weft, and natural dye. There is some minor fading in a few places (doesn't look in real life as the photos indicate) but the condition and quality of the cloth is outstanding...

Mayan Decorated Cylinder. 10 ¼” x 4 1/4” Circa 600 A.D. – 900 A.D. A tall, polychrome decorated vase having a wide center band two large Moan birds, a sea shell. Upper band of well developed, painted glyphs. Wide lower band containing four large circlular elements. Repaired from several large original pieces. Some areas of root marks minor paint loss.

Very rare pair of solid brass candle holders by J.M. Craig in partnership with Colt Armory. Made in Harford, Conn, circa l913, they are surprising heavy. Measures at base 4" diameter. 9ʺ high.
Antique Japanese bronze Bishamonten or guardian. Taisho period, 1912-1926. The Bishamonten is the protector of Buddhism, distributor of treasures and wealth and protector of warriors. He is the Shitenno guardian of the north, of riches and scourger of evil doers, and healer of illness. The Shitenno are the four heavenly guardians that protect the Buddha and his attendants. There is a seal on the base reading Nobu. It measures 38" tall.

Dressed on the rim edge with Batavia Brown / iron oxide finish typical for the period...
DESCRIPTION: 800 silver plaque over wood icon depicts Madonna and child, the faces are enamled while the body features in a silver filigree overlay with both figures wearing elaborate garments and crowns. Engraved with writing Marked "800", from first quarter of 20th century. Size; Height of icon is 10 inches with length of 8.5 inches, no condition issues.

An Arita blue & white porcelain dish decorated with a pavilion and poetry, an equestrian and servant in the foreground. The dish is moulded with a shallow ‘rinka’ edge. The back is plain and has three spur marks within the foot-rim.
An identical dish is illustrated in the Shibata Collection Vol.4, #303 where it is dated to 1770~1800.
Approximately 17.8 cm diameter. The dish has some light wear from normal use but is otherwise in fine condition...
