Japanese Satsuma ware footed vase with lobed mouth and squat lobed form, elaborately decorated all over with textile-like patterns in raised gold and colorful over glaze, five reserves with alternating scenes depicting Buddhist saints and samurai, exquisite details down to the individual features of each figure, Meiji Period c1900, a cartouche inscription on the bottom written Satsuma. The style of the calligraphy and the decoration appears similar to ones produced by Hotoda...

19th century smallish (probably made for a child) mask netsuke of Okame. Wonderful chubby face with a wide smile, black ink highlights, very nice wear and patina. Signed on the back - the signature appears to read ROSUI. Height 1.19 inches.

The size of Plate: 7 5/16" Dia x 1 5/16" High. Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Plate. Plate has design of turtle shell(Kiko) design in blue underglaze. There are three Ho-O bird in red and gold. Three Kiri design in red/gold. There are Mon design around the plate with bamboo leaves design. Outside has bird design and Karakusa design by blue under glaze. The condition of plate very good, no chip, no crack and no hairline...
