A Japanese Arita lobed dish decorated with a dragon descending from clouds, grasping the pearl of wisdom. The back with a fuku mark. The dish dates from 1750~1790. A similar design to Chinese examples of the Yongzheng period.

Raised on low feet incorporated into the shape of the four flat sides. The top and sides are bordered by a single blue line. On each side, framed within four corners is a quickly painted floral motif. On the top is a more detailed plant and floral design. Though generally in good condition, there is evidence of use. The glaze on top is considerably worn. There are a few minor glaze chips...

Enjoy this small local wooden folk Buddhist statue called 'Minshu-Butsu' (or 'Minkan-Butsu'), dated back to the indicated age but could also be earlier.

It is unique and soften modeled with calm smiling in 'Gassho' pose, coated with mature paint and an impressing merciful aura.

The statue shows the wear of time and draws its beauty from it...

An elegant and beautiful lead Jacobite toasting glass engraved by "Engraver B" in Seddon's book. The drawn trumpet bowl has a 6 petal rose, an open rose bud to its left, and a closed rose bud to its right.

Over the years there have been various interpretations of these symbols, and even now it can be argued that the rose represents either the Crown of England or James, the Old Pretender...

A very unusual enamelled polychrome Arita dish decorated with a curious central motif which would appear to be a highly stylised interpretation of double Vajra, similar motifs, are to be found of Chinese Ming porcelains of the late 15th and early 16th centuries...

A small porcelain water coupe with Langyao red glaze (郎红釉）finish on the body, light green glaze (苹果绿釉） on inside the body and inside the foot rim. 18th century. The water coupe is in excellent condition - just some scratches on the glaze. Diameter: 2-5/8".

A Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period ( 1736 - 1795 ) covered box decorated with an absolutely amazing deep cobalt blue. Diameter : 6,7 cm. Condition : Perfect.

This is a superb English MSAT wine glass with a vermicular collar. It is a pair with item g1252 and matches g1251, though that glass is considerably and uncommonly larger. The glass for sale in this listing is shown on the right in the first photo.

The attractive dish with a misty village and waterfall scene within a moulded celadon border. The back celadon glazed to the foot-rim which contains a six-character Chenghua mark and five neat spur marks.

An antique drinking glass with exceptional engraving of three tulips on the bell bowl. The stem features an inverted baluster knop with trapped air tear. Dutch soda metal. Height 5 3/4 inches, bowl diameter 2 1/4 inches, folded foot diameter 2 3/4 inches.
