Fine large, 21 inch long, sterling silver mirrored plateau by Jean Francois Veyrat, 10 Rue De La Tour, Paris. This plateau features four cast silver hoof feet and a beveled mirror. In excellent condition with just normal antique wear to the mirror, it is fully hallmarked and has a wood bottom. Measures 21" long, 17" wide, and 2.25" high. Circa 1880.

This rare juglet type is typical of the form that was popular in Judea during the Iron Age II Period (circa 1000 - 586 B.C.). Nice design and beautiful coloring. This jug measures 3.5" tall. Early Meiji Era Soba Choko with landscape design painted in underglaze cobalt blue on porcelain. Average height of 6cm and average diameter of 7 cm. Though widely attributed to Arita kilns; by the late Edo and Early Meiji Periods, porcelain soba choko were also being made in Seto, as well as at kilns further north in Tohoku. This set of 5 features a typical land/seascape scene of a hut and the sea with a boat and birds flying overhead. All cups are in good condition featuring the same pattern.

Pair of pretty Austrian Biedermeier Classical silver candlesticks, 1863. Each: Tapering socket with turned-down rim and overhanging base mounted to knopped baluster shaft on domed and curvilinear foot with stippled flowers at corners. Fluting and lobing. Perfect for reading Goethe by candlelight. Marks include dated Viennese assay stamp indicating 13 loths (that is 812.5 silver) and maker’s initials IC. Very good condition.

A rare Chinese Five Dynasties to late Tang Yue Celadon brush washer

A fine pair of mirror image blue opaline glass vases with enameled butterflies and flowers. Attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons, these date circa 1860-1880. The vases are in excellent antique condition with only loss to the gilt on the rims and an area on the back. Measures 12.75" high x 5.5" diameter. A truly beautiful and rare find.

Pair of Chinese Ming Dynasty Painted Pottery Tiles - Birds & Flower Blossoms

This very attractive pair of pottery tiles was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). They are made from a dense, quiet highly-fired grey pottery and feature leaves, birds and flower blossoms in high relief. The blossoms are presumably lotus blossoms although could possibly be chrysanthemums. The tile on the left also has one flower still in bud...

DESCRIPTION: A large antique porcelain plate, well decorated with a mythical Kylin gazing upward at a large bird perched in a pine tree. The decoration is in underglazed blue with a clear glaze containing a faint blue tint. The base is unglazed and unmarked showing the finely grained paste. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs; wood stand not included. DIMENSIONS: 11 1/4” diameter (28.5 cm) x 2 1/8" high (5.4 cm).

Japanese 2 section Mizuya (kitchen chest of drawers) made with Hinoki (cypress) wood frame and Sugi (cedar) panels, with natural hardwood burl front drawers panels. The top section is configured with two small and three very small drawers below a large interior compartment. A rare Arabic style early Ming 15th century Chenghua - Hongzhi blue and white bowl, rounded side with flared rim, straight foot and glazed base, bowl outer wall decorated with fine under glaze blue of Arabic style pattern and flower motif, inner wall with scroll motif, inner center with lotus petal motif.
