Adorable embroidered silk children's jacket. Considering the elaborate embroidery on both sides this was probably a festival jacket. China, late 19th/early 20th century. Dimensions: H. 35 cm , W. 83 cm. Condition: expected wear, discoloring, stains and a few holes in the silk top layer. The glass eyes of the dragon on the back are missing.

A large early Ming longquan celadon guan jar, rounded dide with globular body and glazed base, jar decorated with ribbed body and craved flower motif, covered with sky bluish green glaze.
Jar is in good condition with some worn on the glaze surface, there is a faint crack line on the body, overal is a beautiful and rare piece, no chip, no restoration.

Up for sale is a very large antique chinese red silk tapestry brocaded with polychrome peonies & vines, and gold thread shadows, Qianlong period. The panel is made up of 2 pieces from a yardage, each about 27" wide, and that explains why there is a seam in the middle; the panel backed with light yellow silk. A small twin-handled bronze censer, finely casted and with good patina. The base carries a rare two character seal script mark which reads "Cang Ju". It was probably made in the 17th Century, during the late Ming or early Qing dynasty. This item is from the collection of a British architect who was born in China and lived in Shanghai. Antique Chinese pair of lions, made all of gilt copper repouse and cloisonne, the female lion rests her paw on her young lion who is laying on it's back, the male lion has his paw resting on a ball with elaborately draped ribbons symbolizing the world, each lion has a bell hanging from around it's neck, the cloisonne work is extremely ornate with detailed patterns, birds and flowers, beautiful and dramatic, 19th century. Size of each: 20 1/2" high x 13" wide x 18" deep.
