Exquisite Alexander Roux bed circa 1850 in the gothic/rococo style. Roux was born in France and emigrated to New York where he became one of the most sought after cabinet makers of American Victorian furniture. The bed measures 7'9" tall x 7'4" long x 4'8" wide. A blue and white bowl, decorated to exterior with horses running to upper part section, the interior center with a medallion surrounded by three fishes on cavetto sides. Ming dynasty 17th century Zhangzhou ware. Condition is very good, no any chip, no crack and free from restoration excepted slight warped. Diameter: 13.5cm.

Antique Chinese scroll painting of two beautiful birds with brightly colored feathers and long, striped tails, with resemblance to a cockatiel. One runs along the ground, gazing at nearby dandelions, its long tail feather arching gracefully above its body, and one sits perched amidst foliage with its neck feathers blowing in the wind like golden hair. A tall branch extends upwards into the painting, sprouting white peonies and pink chrysanthemums...

This representation of the female deity in seated position retains its old brown patina with areas of verdigris both on the exterior of the image as well as the interior of the base. The overall condition is very good with some minor wear but no apparent damages. Acquired from a Chapel Hill, NC estate, originally collected in the 1930s.

Antique Chinese lapis bottle with raised carvings of a taotie motif over squared spiral designs with dragon heads, and pierced spiraling dragons on the bottles' sides. There are carved downwards pointing leaves near the top with two handles in the form of beast heads and carved rings. The lid has an artichoke shaped finial. Comes with a delicate hardwood stand with silver inlay.

Antique Chinese lapis bottle, with detailed carvings of a beautiful woman in flowing robes standing beside a small boy holding a peach, who appears to be handing the woman a leaf. The flip side of the container is carved with a long-stemmed sunflower and puffs of smoke. The lid has reticulated carvings of a sunflower and stems with two birds perched upon it. circa 19 century Size: 4" height, 2.5" width
