An organic mid century modern ring by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This ring, executed in sterling silver with an Opal cabochon, is currently a size 8 1/2 and can be adjusted up or down because of the open back. Marked Paul Miller, Sterling on the inside. Opal measures 5/8" long and 3/8" across. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches. Very fine example of his work.

A large and flashy unsigned gold plated rhinestone brooch c1950-60. This 2-7/8" x 2" pin features a large watermelon rhinestone, with teal and deep blue and grey/blue claw-set marquise rhinestones. It also has blue and green aurora borealis stones, and it has a safety catch. This item is in excellent original condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than one small green rhinestone which has a chip on the table...

A vintage hand wrought sterling silver necklace with an Arts and Crafts feel by the well known Boston silversmith, Ella Cone, comprised of linked leaves and scrolls.

Measures 15 1/4" long, could be lengthened with an extender. Spring clasp holds securely. Marked Sterling, XTO, and Ella L. Cone on each leaf. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Interesting silver ring with a big red cabochon agate and some gold, made by Danish silversmith Ole W Jacobsen (workshop 1952 – 2002). The ring is hand hammered all around, the gold probably not under 14 K. An old “scar” to the stone, made by nature herself, has been left untouched to let the setting follow its shape. Signed OWJ and 925 S. Inner diameter "3/4 /15 mm. Condition: fine.

A stunning 18K white gold Art Deco pendant that doubles as a brooch. The rich blue sapphires are bezel set and uniform in color. The diamonds are prong set and just makes this pendant sparkle. The bale folds under when the pendant is used as a brooch. In flawless condition, it measures 2" long x 1" wide. If you like Art Deco, you'll love this piece!

This unusual pin features an applied abstract motif of molten silver mounted on a rosewood panel. The wood has a backing of silver and a secure rollover clasp. It has a handsome design and is expertly constructed. It is unmarked, but all the silver has been tested, and is most likely sterling. The back bears a secure rollover clasp.

This .830 silver bracelet is made of five delicate, decorative chains that hang comfortably around the wrist. It is secured by a tongue-and-groove clasp that bears an unidentified maker’s mark of M.S. with a triangular mark, as well as the mark 830 S, possibly for Norway. Rare sterling silver cuff bracelet set with 2 obsidian stones designed and signed c. 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Front panel is 1 1/2" high. This pretty pendant features a large amethyst, measuring approximately 10mm across. It is set in a framework of bright gold leaves, which is very much in the Arts and Crafts style. There is another leaf on the bale, and a fringe of tiny seed pearls dangling below – so sweet! From the top of the bale to the bottom of the fringe it measures 1-1/2”, and from side to side it is 3/4” at the widest point. It is marked and tested 14k gold and weighs 1.8g...

Based on Salvador Teran's sought-after "dancers" design, the bracelet I am presenting here was crafted in the period the renowned Mexican modernist was active by one of his contemporary Taxco maestros. Absolute minimalism, strong graphics and a sense of unencumbered, fluid motion characterize the figural overlay which dominates the shadow-box construction of the three central links...

This 3-piece set is a rare find. It is by Hermann Siersbol, of Copenhagen, Denmark, circa 1950's-1960's. The brooch and earrings display a convex modernist starburst motif: (a spiderweb, foil look), with points and textured silverwork. The brooch comes to a head, with turquoise and lapis stones / beads and is marked 925S HS. The earrings are clipbacks, with a central lapis stone / bead and are marked 925S HS and STERLING. This suite is circa 1950s-1960s...

Here is a nicely designed bracelet with a primitive feel and a classy look. It was made by Renoir of California, and has a secure fold-over clasp and the Renoir signature on the back. This Juliana bracelet measures 7 1/4" and has a safety chain. It has wide carnelian matrix stone, with blue and green rhinestones. It is fabulous condition. I have seen this item brings as much as $999.00 in June of 2009.

These delicate sterling silver pendant earrings have scrolled frames supporting small teardrops. They are designed in the tradition of solje jewelry from Norway. These earrings are marked only 925 on the screw backs; there are no other markings. They measure about 2 ¼ inches long by 1/2 inch wide. Weight: 7.7 grams

A clever design composed of three forged wires terminating in curls at each end. The bracelet is handmade and quite sturdy. It bears a mark inside one curl of a three-lobed cypher and STG, possibly for sterling. The metal shows a very strong test for silver. The bracelet has a 6 ½-inch internal circumference, which includes a 1 1/4–inch opening; it is ¼ inch wide. Weight: 21 grams

A phenomenal dress set comprising a pair of cufflinks and three shirt studs, all worked in 18K yellow gold and set with green cat's-eye tourmalines.
