It is rendered in the Kamphaeng Phet style, which echoes that of neighboring Sukhothai, but with subtle differences, such as sharper overall facial features and eyebrows that form a continuous line above the bridge of the nose...

Khmer Empire, modern-day Cambodia, Angkor period ca. 1000 AD.

Exceptional Khmer dagger with the large sculptural bronze hilt shaped as Uma / Parvati with hands folded in prayer arising from a flower. She is ornamented in fine jewelry, including a collar necklace, bracelets armbands, earrings, and an ornate diadem. The finally cast details of the face, clothing and jewelry are all indicative of the Angkor period. Uma was a favored goddess in Khmer Angkor.

A fine Heger 1 type bronze drum with a 12 ray star in the center and concentric panels of circles, points, triangles, comb and saw teeth decoration on the tympanum. A finely cast figure of a Godess, likeley 'Uma', standing in samabhanga, wearing a sampot with a elaborate hems, holding ritual objects in both hands, richly adorned with jewelry. Her strongly featured face with almond-shaped eyes, and full lips, the head surmounted by a large and elaborate pointed crown.

Quite exceptional for the richness of details and the fine cast. With a very attractive green patina with earthern deposits.

An outstanding and very large pottery sculpture of a Fish, Indonesia, Majahapit Empire, 13th.-14th. century AD.

The sculpture comes with a termo-Luminescence test from Kotalla Laboratory in Dec. 2020, the vessel tested as ca. 590 years old.

The fish is resting on a large podium with it's tail and head lifted, it's sharp teeth visible in a large curving mouth. A museum quality rendering and among the finest pottery art known for Majahapit, available on the market.

A lovely patinated silver box for betel Chewing, Burma or Lanna, 19th. century. High grade silver!

Height 6,5cm, ø 12,5cm; weighing 166g.

Low box for a betel-chewing ingridient, star and flower on the lid, on the sides zigzag pattern, the whole background covered with petal-like nubs. A beautifully incised goat on the bottom.
