Interesting Late renaissance iron helmet of the 'cabasset' type, probably German, c. 1580-1600.

Size: 26 cm. wide and 20 cm. tall.

Condition: Intact of very good metal with some polishing. Brown traces of superficial rust on other parts. Black painted in the interiour to avoid rust.

Amazing massive ushabti of the finest style of the Late period, Egypt, 26th - 30th Dynasty, approx. 664 - 332 BC.

Shown mummiform, this exceptional large and beautiful Ushabti, still untranslated, probably represents an important nobleman. As quite rarely seen, the othervise greenish faience, came out as almost black in the kiln, so it looks almost like basalt, very attractive!

An attractive hard burnt terracotta plaque of female deity, probably Ishtar, with tall headdress and fine gown, babylonian, 2nd. mill. BC.

The godess is decorated with wedge-like decoration on her breasts and lower part of gown. On the back inscribed with 4 columns of Cuneiform, untranslated by us.
