Antique ukiyo-e woodblock print of a woman in a blue checkered kimono, standing with her back to her front doors and a beautiful mountainous scene behind her. By artist Kunisada, signed under his assumed name Toyokuni II. Set behind glass in a large frame. Back of frame states "censor's seal between 1859 and 1874".

Elegant Victoria sterling silver pin cushion by Gorham. The silver surface is encrusted with repousse decoration of chrysanthemums and forget-me-nots. A rococo reserve is engraved with a period 3-letter monogram. This style of decoration is rather unusual for Gorham. The bottom is fully hallmarked, including the date mark for 1901. The pincushion also retains its original red velvet covering, a rare survivor.

Japanese Edo period woodblock print titled "Four" (yon/shi) depicting the actors Onoe Kikugoro IV and Ichikawa Kodanji IV in the roles of Oiwa and Izaemon from a series titled "After The Seven Iroha" by Toyokuni III (also known as Kunisada) dated 8/1856. This series was published the same year as "Seven Variations of the Iroha." The title cartouches of the prints in this series feature ciphers written seven different ways. "Iroha" refers to a distinct form of Japanese poetry...
Antique, early 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty Canton enameled copper Famille rose box and cover. The top and two sides are finely hand-painted with colorful enamel against a white ground, depicting ladies and attendants at leisure on the garden terrace in rectangular panels. All surrounded by roses with leafy branches on a cobalt blue ground.
The other two sides have the "Shou" emblem painted in brown enamel with gold borders.

Very handsome and heavy sterling silver master salt dish in the Georgian style. The flattened spherical body has a modified egg and dart border and is raised on acanthus leaf legs terminating in animal paw feet. Goodnow & Jenks was Boston's finest silversmith, albeit only for a short period, 1893-1905. The bottom is marked with the maker's mark, as well as a partially obscured retailer's mark.

A fine antique Chinese child's collar with stitch work and fine knitting on the edge. The shawl collar is decorated with auspicious motifs of bats, butterflies, geese, and flowers. The collar is often seen in Chinese fashion during the Qing Dynasty where women wore the collars during formal or auspicious occasions. Age: Qing-Republic Period Size: length 18.5" height 16"
Authentic antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox 3-folded brass triptych traveling icon. The center panel depicts St Nicholas the Wonder Worker blessing with his right hand, with the Book of Gospel in his left hand, surmounted on the top by the finial illustrating The Vernicle (The Holy Face of Christ). Ornate Victorian sterling silver pie server by Gorham. The pattern is very similar to "Dresden", but is not an exact match. The handle is covered with various motifs, including shells, flowers, scrolls, and foliage. The bowl is very nicely scalloped and elegantly decorated with engraving to match the handle. The original gilding has faded to a soft lemon shade. Pie servers are not very common and are quite useful for all sorts of pie, pastries or cakes, or even tea sandwiches...

A two-handled solid silver bowl made around 1890. Unmarked, but its shape and the pierced pattern with crescents and six-pointed stars indicates a Russian and Jewish origin. Tested for a silver content of 800 / 1000 (minimum). Weight 157 grams, width "4 ½ / 11 cm and height "2 ½ / 6 ½ cm. Condition: fine.
