A very large unguentarium made of slightly green clear glass Roman, Eastern Mediterranean, 2nd - 3rd century AD.
The bottle of impressive height and with broad base and tappering neck, sound glass.
Size: c. 17,5 cm. tall and 8,7 cm. in diameter at the base!
Condition: Extremely fine, sound almost clear glass vessel with beautiful silverish and rainbow irridescence and deposits inside.

Rare Antique Japanese Shino bowl Chawan Old Shino Pottery for Tea Ceremony made during Meiji Period (1868-1912)
Shino pottery is produced in today's Gifu prefecture since 16th century and it is distinguished by thick white glazes, red marks and the surface of small holes.

Circa 1830, historical dark blue Staffordshire teapot with a different scene on each side. One side shows 3 men chopping down a tree with a house in the background. The opposing side depicts a train engine pulling a coach. This teapot was produced by Enoch Wood & Sons (1818 - 1846) of Staffordshire. The deep blue color is remarkable as well as its excellent condition. Measures 10.5ʺ wide, 5ʺ deep, 7ʺ high.
Diamater = +- 9 cm. From Song dynasty CONDITION : a chips on the footrim, no cracks, no hairlines and free from restorations.

A beautiful set of ten small shallow dishes, each uniquely decorated with a poem and image from the Edo period Sasashima Kiln of central Nagoya. The box, titled Sasashima Yaki Teshio Jumai (10 Sasashima Salt Dishes) is dated inside to the Tenpo era, (1830-1844). Each dish is 9 cm (3-1/2 inches) diameter and all are in excellent condition.
