Chinese Qing dynasty rectangular form hardwood display stand with inset top, short waist with fine applied carved decorative elements, and apron carved with a horned monster head at the center. The four elephant-head form cabriole legs are attached by the curling trunk to a humpback stretcher raised on short tab feet. A bulbous little pitcher or jug and a small mug, both north Bohemian c 1800 or somewhat earlier. The white Milchglas or Milk glass enameled in the style of Meissen or Sèvres porcelain - often in the “Famille rose” colors seen on this pitcher - was an appreciated export from Bohemia (present Czech Republic).
